These are all Stampin Up products used for this bridge fold card. I love this stamp set and the coordinating dies. This is a set from last year - just getting around to using it now! Better late than never! LOL </p><p>I have a lot to be thankful for this year as I am getting to see my grandson that I haven't seen in five years! So my daughter, Debbie, and Jason are coming in from Minnesota to celebrate Thanksgiving in New York! So all my chicks and their families (2 daughters, 2 sons) will be under one roof for a limited time together! Yay!!!</p><p>Hoping to add some family memories to our digital albums and moments to be treasured. </p><p>Thank you for visiting me today, big hugs and blessings always for you and yours,</p><p>CaroleAnn</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNLlt0BWObJpIjx8npPA0c43Cso3FZ39yPhXMq-2IETQGXKGgraupLieuM0PmfW7GJrozlgNSWD0ii8v2SkNnJVdJhvKjLn6enpVpZ86vl_NQpSyatsyht4N2CaKk8yWwE9LPIfnGJ_WhqPFzX9bOOH-LFVT6_T7mFshD8_S86eA7HxHvOe8-fNh5FqQ/s640/Bridge%20Fold%20Thanksgiving%20Card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="522" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNLlt0BWObJpIjx8npPA0c43Cso3FZ39yPhXMq-2IETQGXKGgraupLieuM0PmfW7GJrozlgNSWD0ii8v2SkNnJVdJhvKjLn6enpVpZ86vl_NQpSyatsyht4N2CaKk8yWwE9LPIfnGJ_WhqPFzX9bOOH-LFVT6_T7mFshD8_S86eA7HxHvOe8-fNh5FqQ/s320/Bridge%20Fold%20Thanksgiving%20Card.jpg" width="261" /></a></div>Back of Card has a place to write your message<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW_9s1frJ9raaPiO_cTx4DoyAJ9sJx0NdmkFFx6ixGPZUIMga3Ktu1Cg6GUtfmuSFEknPuLMdeP252IcIHZL2nPEU75h6_XQ6pPAzgPh1UIvCUQPivZ1Fpvon0vaV1duHoTcscvDhk_Knll3ALBNcEDBuZ_Siv4QvTD701TED_IDFTI0pi5TyfIecWcw/s640/Back%20of%20Thanksgiving%20card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="552" data-original-width="640" height="258" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW_9s1frJ9raaPiO_cTx4DoyAJ9sJx0NdmkFFx6ixGPZUIMga3Ktu1Cg6GUtfmuSFEknPuLMdeP252IcIHZL2nPEU75h6_XQ6pPAzgPh1UIvCUQPivZ1Fpvon0vaV1duHoTcscvDhk_Knll3ALBNcEDBuZ_Siv4QvTD701TED_IDFTI0pi5TyfIecWcw/w270-h258/Back%20of%20Thanksgiving%20card.jpg" width="270" /></a></div><br /><div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></div>CaroleAnnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04478955927641480736noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753219254753408857.post-55582501106000809642022-10-24T12:36:00.000-04:002022-10-24T12:36:00.737-04:00<p>MY GRATEFUL CARD</p><p>It has been some time since my last post. But I have been creating a ton of cards and also making albums. So creatively busy but not posting much. Sorry about that. I made one card like this and it blossomed into a whole bunch of different grateful cards. We can always find something to be grateful for in our lives no matter what is going on with us or around us. </p><p>The card front is an old embossing folder I dug out of my stash and it just about covers all the gratefuls in my life. This embossing folder made card making simple too because it is so pretty by itself. So many embossing folders that can do just that for you - quick card idea!</p><p>May you always find blessings tucked away in your day. </p><p>I thank my Lord for my blessings both seen and unseen each and every day!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2VVoZbNyfnc1SSCKUqdNxJmVdLUgEu7Gjy1WjwrsqbShJWb4LmAfO10myglWmTjx1OoyZXqv_JekNt7Q0VS0XffgyX_4C0ludvfWJwBj_FBU3VhosC9mNnVYrCmpQmkMkkzHBRIEnduf1JpCgACNyKfmXMnXBw5uCQ1yWZjtmXwfp9O67t3e2MaDjLw/s640/Grateful%20Cards%202022.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2VVoZbNyfnc1SSCKUqdNxJmVdLUgEu7Gjy1WjwrsqbShJWb4LmAfO10myglWmTjx1OoyZXqv_JekNt7Q0VS0XffgyX_4C0ludvfWJwBj_FBU3VhosC9mNnVYrCmpQmkMkkzHBRIEnduf1JpCgACNyKfmXMnXBw5uCQ1yWZjtmXwfp9O67t3e2MaDjLw/s320/Grateful%20Cards%202022.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Card Recipe:<div>CS - Base is Navy Blue </div><div>Die cuts and sentiments from SU both have been popped up with dimensionals and this is an easel card. Here on the East Coast, we are still waiting for it to warm up! Spring has to arrive soon but in the meantime, I am keeping warm all bundled up! LOL </p><p>Had some creativity going on here, so my hands have been kept warm by creating a Baby Boy Mini Album from envelopes. This was a project I decided to make for one of the ladies at church expecting her baby boy any day now and since we celebrated her baby shower, it is now safe for me to show the photos of this album. Hope you enjoy taking a peek. Hugs and be blessed always, CaroleAnn</p><p>NOTE: Photo Heavy</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCgeLawvi7CH0tUKF3sNy_PdFM6ptg49uizf4yXRbzdGnDbrN78CG4VDG3qDtqQwE_z6icIOZgP7CFIhnPmw95Y-9nIyY484R122-nIIbT5gEM4Lv5E_p2hFRBb1wz9KNIJ-KT8opP2_3BlnmNthulZhzw2RphmA0ozOaLaZo3kEdHZft2h5qG3QI1Aw/s640/Baby%20Boy%20Album%20Cover%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; I wanted to make a mini album for my sister's birthday and so the search began on youtube for mini albums that were easy! Well, there is a ton of examples out there of mini albums made with envelopes! So here is the one I made for her! I used craft envelopes that I had on hand (4x6). Loads of fun putting it together and using up lots of my 6 x 6 papers. I have a collection of Alice in Wonderland stamps from Stamping Bella and Make It Crafty, so put them to use in this card booklet for my sister. Stamping Bella shows you a video on coloring most of their images so I copied those Copic markers down and had a few days of coloring fun!!</p><p>Note: Photo heavy. It is sad to see how scarce they have become. Our tomato plants could use a few:( </p><p>This is a shaker card made using Stampin Up products and I had fun designing this card. It is easy when all the papers coordinate with everything. I love this stamp set too - Honey Bee. Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hope you are okay and hanging in there. <br />
<br />
I got a kick out of seeing these geckos and just had to make a card with them. Yep - it is from my stash so no name for these except I am pretty sure it was an Inkadinkadoo stamp because it was in an old drawer with a bunch of those stamps - which I do not believe I will be able to part with. <br />
<br />
This is the worst purging I think anyone has ever done. I just can't help myself as I know I will want to use this stamp again. If it is more than 10 years from now, I may not be here!!!!! So I should let it go as I think that is how long I have had these stamps!!!!! Only kidding, sorry:(</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care and, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn<br />

CARD RECIPE:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The gecko image was stamped three times and is colored with Copic markers on separate thick white cardstock, fussy cut, and attached to the front of my background with 3D foam. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The background I created before attaching the geckos with an MFT stamp with various colored inks from my stash and did the same with the splatter stamp that came in this same set from MFT. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Added the sequins from SU and then mounted this to black cardstock and then onto the white base.</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">I have been waiting for the arrival of those Washington State cherries in the supermarkets!</span><br />
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: justify;">Last week, before I could have my own, my daughter works as a home health care worker and she helps with the food shopping so the lady she works with gave her some to bring home to me!!! I thought that was so sweet and kind of her to think of me in her busy day of food shopping. So this card is for her!!! </span><span style="text-align: justify;">So sweet when someone you haven't even met, thinks of you with such kindness. </span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cherries have arrived in Shoprite and on sale for 2.99 lb and 1.99 lb if you use your digital coupon!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So hubby brought me home a bag and I am so happy - love cherries but these are my favorites!!! Good when you have arthritis too! (Sweet thoughtfulness on hubby's part too!)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Thank you for stopping by and hoping some sweet kindness comes your way too!!!</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the sunflower I wrote about in a previous post. This is an old stamp set from Crafty Secrets. And I love this set, has this sentiment that I used on the card and within the image that is framed. Butterfly stamp is also included. The background paper is from SU, their new Artistry Blooms, gorgeous paper and the sequins to match are so sparkly - love them!! Ribbon is also SU.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Image has been colored with Copic Markers. Glitter on the "S" of the word sunshine and the wings on the butterfly. A happy card for sure;)</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I found this old stamp set from Crafty Secrets and I used part of the sentiment that came with it "sunshine". This set has a gorgeous large sunflower stamp that I made a card with and will post that hopefully soon.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The little sunflower is a wooden stamp from SU that I found in one of my forgotten stamp drawers. Such a cute little stamp - yeap, not giving this one away either. LOL </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The sunshine stencil is from TH and I used my distress inks. Added some glitter here and there. The wooden button is from my stash.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love sunflower images - bright and happy flowers. I think I have a Gerber Daisy stamp set too - still searching thru some of my old stamp drawers!!! </div>

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a sunshine type of day, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For all the July birthdays for this month - this is for you! This is a Power Poppy stamp and it was fun to color up. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I used a SU embossing folder and image coloring all done with Copic markers. Framed with a SU die and dots from stash. Distress ink used on the embossing folder and around the frame die-cut.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cupcake had me drooling for one, so we bought a tray of cupcakes to celebrate the 4th of July with our family tonight. A beautiful day for us to celebrate, it was quiet, just us - but that being said "just us" is seven people here living together!:) </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So going to put some coffee on and dig into our cupcakes!!! No diet for me this weekend!!!! Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your day and hope you find something yummy to eat at the end of the day!!! Hugs and blessings always ~ CaroleAnn</div>

<br />
Hi, There!<br />
<br />
This is how I feel right now, just thinking about my family, friends, and the world in general. I love this mouse image and I had to give her glitter shoes! LOL I made one up in pink tones (for my sister) and one in purple (for my daughter). <br />
<br />
I am supposed to be downsizing my wooden stamp collections but then I fall in love with them all over again - this is not working so good for me!!!!<br />

Well, if nothing else know someone is thinking about you today! Hugs and blessings always ~ CaroleAnn<br />

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
My last post of that 1999 PSX wooden stamp. I had a few in different sizes and they just remind me of English cottages or perhaps Scottish cottages. <br />
<br />
I kept the coloring very simple - only on the roof and the flowers around the front of the cottage. I imagine them as roses and the glorious scent you would get on your goings and comings from this lovely cottage! Kept the framing simple too and just added some ribbon behind the framed image.<br />
<br />
Just a short post for today. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn<br />

<br />
Hi, There!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have some cards I made some time ago but just did not get around to posting yet. This must come with age, and the heat we are dealing with here - I have no energy lately. Thank goodness I have an AC in my craft room:)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On to my card - I think this rabbit is so sweet looking. It is a wooden stamp from Suzy's Zoo collection and this is called Lulla Bye! I like his pink pads as my cat has pink pads too (he's a ginger kitty).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I kept the design simple for mailing, not happy when I have to use that extra postage;) </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I used a scallop punch that I had before the Big Shot explosion for cutting all those shapes, used Copic Markers for the stamped image. Added a little hello sentiment, some gingham BP, ribbon, and a butterfly sticker. Good to go! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
I hope you are doing well. We have some beautiful weather here on East Coast - must make time for a walk!! But first this post:<br />

I had this die label for quite some time and decided to give it a home. The sentiment and all papers are from SU. Flowers from my stash. These were all papers just leftover from another project so it made it super easy to just put it together! <div style="text-align: justify;">
I have so many digital stamps and in the beginning, I just thought I will save space and not buy any more stamps (that never happened) but, alas, my computer is packed and I never think to go thru what I have (as I believe I just forget what I have)!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Most times, I am in a hurry and just want to sit down and stamp and color - no computer browsing and going to my printer and printing. If I had everything in one room, I believe I would be more productive! Maybe;)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, back to the card - I once had a parakeet called Peter and my sister and I adored him. He had quite the personality too!! Peter was green like the bird that I painted on the first card and yes, he would have sat on a teacup too! As usual, I had to make one more card featuring this bird in blue. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fun image to color and design, something I needed right now. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and if you leave a comment, thanks - I love to read them! Hugs and blessings always ~ CaroleAnn</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
I just had to do one more of these coffee cards and my daughter loves the color purple so here it is! Plus I found some adorable charms in my charm box so I had to add those too. Amazing the stuff I have collected and then it is like a surprise when I locate the stash.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M5HUjHpcrNk/Xt7V7mxCg3I/AAAAAAAAFDk/Dw5HT3iWU6cUjfhQHanVWtf3ma9gBm-RQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/PURPLE%2BCOFFEE%2BCARD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M5HUjHpcrNk/Xt7V7mxCg3I/AAAAAAAAFDk/Dw5HT3iWU6cUjfhQHanVWtf3ma9gBm-RQCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/PURPLE%2BCOFFEE%2BCARD.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some Nuvo Crystal drops inside the coffee cup. Added some SU sequins and the seam binding is one I dyed. The card base was in my card base box waiting to be used. Strips at the bottom are from a leftover project from SU. Glitter added around the sentiment.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can find time to enjoy a cup of coffee or whatever your fave beverage may be. Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn</div>

Hi, There!<br />
<br />
I hope you are well in this trying season and staying safe and sane!!!!:)<br />
<br />
Hubby and I are watching more birds then usual at our feeders - wonder if they got a "stay at home" order and now depending solely on our shopping for their feed and loading up the feeders? LOL Some of them are quite chunky - got to be all the stay at home stuff;)<br />
<br />
So two cards using some old Stamping Up wooden stamps dating back to 1998;) I can't believe I have been stamping and making cards that long - actually started with SU in 1995!!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to see some pretty birds in your part of the world. Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn<br />

CARD RECIPE:<br />
Kept both cards simple as may be using some for donations. The top card has some old stickers from Brenda Walton collections. The only color I applied was a light beige on the flowers with a little glitter.<br />

CARD RECIPE:<br />
I received this Poppy Stamps die called Petal Ribbon and was excited to get it on a card - it is so pretty and I am sure I will find many more uses for this die!! The only color applied here was on the apple and some Nuvo Crystal Drops for dimension. The heart clip is keeping it closed for me for the photo but I am thinking I will leave it there.</div>

<br />
Hi, There!<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We had a good storm yesterday but now we have a beautiful day!! I have also seen a few rainbows in my lifetime and they are beautiful and a constant reminder of His wonderful creations for us to marvel at!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now I love this image and have had it for years but just getting to do something with her!!! I think I would dance in the rain too if I had her boots and an adorable umbrella! I had one once but my granddaughter "adopted" it!!! LOL</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The digital image is from MoManning. I used Copic Markers for coloring and fussy cut her out and attached to the card front. The raindrops I drew myself and applied Nuvo Crystal Drops and some glitter.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The sentiment from SU and rainbow is a sticker from my stash! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you dance in the rain and are blessed with many rainbows!!! Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn</div>
