HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACY!!!

This is 6/28 but tomorrow is Tracy's birthday and I made this card for her!

Tracy happy, happy birthday to you.  I hope you do something fun for your day.  I love your blog and all the inspiration you pour into it!  Here is a pretty fairy for you as I know you love the glittery wings! Hope she grants you lots of wishes on your day!

It is getting very warm here and I am not sure if I will be posting much until the heatwave passes for me!  But I guess during the summer I will be slowing up.  Since I only started blogging in January of this year, I have managed to keep something on board for each week - can't say I will be that creative during the summer months - between work, BBQ's, swimming in the pool;)  In the meantime and in between, everyone have a happy and safe summer!!!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Ever do a card - make a mistake and decide - who cares - you like it anyway??  Well, here goes, I made a mistake with the rub-on words not realizing that you will not be able to read it as well over the design on the paper but liked the image (from Krista Smith) so much just had to post it and the rub-on sentiment was also one of my favorites!  So here you are - my mistake but loving it in smite of that error;)  And I am dedicating this card to all my friends!!
Hope to be back soon -  Lesson learned - be careful with the rub-on over designer paper:)

BABY FAIRY IN PINK/ A NEW BABY GIRL

Happy Happy Friday to Everyone!!!  Here she is one of Mo's digital images of a set of baby fairies (I still have the others to color too - can't wait - so much to color and so little time;)  Now the papers used are from my stash and I wish I could remember where I got them from - does that mean I have too much "stash" - Never!!  The cherry blossoms are from WOC and the large daisy is from the "stash".  I colored her with my copic markers - never recorded the colors, sorry. I put a border around the image with the copic liner marker and then added liquid pearl and some stardust. The stamped label is from Lili of the Valley and the label background is from MS so is the butterfly punch.  And final touch are these wires I found in the "stash" and made curly cues from them!  Hope you like it!  I would like to wish everyone that is graduating - a Happy Graduation!  We had two - my grandchildren - a set of twins - graduated from 8th Grade!

Anything Goes/Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge

I hope you are keeping cool wherever you are!  Here on the East coast we are stuck in a heat wave. I am not going to get much done with this weather - I don't fair well in the heat even with an AC in my craft room I get over heated!  These cool color blues made me feel cooler and I just have to feel better looking at such an adorable image by Mo.  Hope you have a great weekend.  I will have one more of these darlings to post as I did one more in pink - again!  I am boring I'm sure but I love an image and I can't get it out of my head until I color all the colors I see them in! lol Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I colored with copic markers and used WOC flowers.  Papers are from my stash.  Lots of glitter on his wings - my favorite part to color ;)  Used MS punches for the butterflies and pearls from stash.

MO'S CHALLENGE #139 - IN THE PARK

I made this card for my hubby and I for our anniversary.  We love sitting in our chairs out back and watching the birds at our bird feeder - so it is a park like setting.  I believe we have 3 generations of birds now coming to our feeder - so many.  We have hummingbirds that come back each year to the hummingbird feeders too!  Love watching them - they are so fast and beautiful colors!  We also have Woodpeckers too - small and large visiting the feeder.  So it is a relaxing time for us out there!  Now we may both have white hair but neither one of us is going to admit to the roundness of the bottoms in this picture - at least not me! :)  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I colored the sweet couple with copic markers - never wrote the colors down - sorry.  The paper is from my stash.  I kept this card very simple - hard to do but I managed.  Some stardust on her flowers!  I doodled around the image with copic liner pen.

I am surprising myself with this - two cards in one night.  I love Sugar Nellie's images  - this one is a digital and I had him for some time and just got around to coloring him.  So realistic and the shading that is already in the image makes it so easy to color!  This is going to my boss today as he and his wife became grandparents (second time around) to a baby boy!  Hope they like it.  Have a great weekend - I hope to be coloring furiously in my craft room:)!!  Take care - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
