FORBIDDEN LOVE

Hi There!

Okay, title of the card might seem strange but my imagination went wild with this digi image.  Just wondered what "sweet nothings" was he whispering to the lovely.  Does she look bored or looking off for some help?!!  Is this a secret affair?
I got a little steampunk going on here too.  Just got some new "stuff" from Graphic45 and I love the papers but the cling stamps are great too.
I would like to enter this card for the following challenge:
CLP Sketch for August #61

Card Recipe:
I apologize but not sure where the digi victorian image came from - let me know if you recognize it!  It has been colored with copic markers and cut out with Spellbinders radiant rectangles.  Shaded with distress ink.  And mounted onto another Spellbinder radiant rectangle frame. Papers are from Glitz.  I stamped a steampunk hat in upper and lower corners.  Added a black feather up on top.  Victorian brads and lace from stash has been added along with some gold filigree corners.  A dragon fly sticker from K&C and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Close Up: You can see a glimpse of the feather in this one.

Inside View: I love my new stamp - steampunk hat!!

SWEET MEMORIES

Hi, There!

I have today off - so it will be playtime for me.  But I have some very sweet memories of my playtime growing up with my sister.  This is a new image that I bought from Mo Manning  a while back and it just hit home for me!

We loved roller skating - did it just about every day with my sister and our friends.  And yes, I had big bandaids on my knees too!

The image is called "Come Out and Play"!  Sissy - do you remember those days?  Now I have trouble chewing gum and walking at the same time - forget about roller skating!! LOL
I kept the card very simple - for me anyways;)

Hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by on my day off!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Image is colored with Copic Markers - I used no glitter on my image (very hard to do for me)
Just used a background paper from my stash, found some stickers from my stash (heart and text) and used one die cut from my stash.  Had to add a few rhinestones to pep it up.

SUMMER DREAMS

Hi There!
Okay, we are having a rather cloudy August day here!  But it seems sunny to me because I have gotten into my craft room to make this card.  These are some of my favorite colors too!  I love this paper from from Glitz/Happy Travels and I used my Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles to frame this image - which is from Make It Crafty.  Love their images - so fun to color!  Check out their Alice In Wonderland images!  Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.  Till next time - thanks for visiting me!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

SMOKIN' HOT

Hi, There
Well, some of our blogger friends are having a smokin' hot summer this year!  So I thought this card would be fun to dedicate to all those hot days and hoping you can cool off by the beach as this lovely is doing or at least enjoy some real cold ice cream;)

I found this great wedding card that I had saved and used the background for my image.  The ocean looks so inviting and I love the sky so I thought it would work out perfectly together with this great image.  The sand part on the card is raised and rough to the touch and I added the vellum text and the stickers from K&Company/Travel.

Image is from Krista Smith  called "Smokin' Hot" - and she is!!  I inked her up with my Copic markers and outlined her in stardust.  Inside is also from K&Company/Travel and I used one of my new spellbinder dies to compliment the die used for the image on front of the card.

Hope you like it - stay cool to all our friends suffering with the heatwave.
Till next time, thanks so much for stopping by, hugs ~ CaroleAnn

CAMPING MEMORIES

Hi There!
Well we have a lot of camping memories since that is what we did with our 4 children - many, many, years ago.  Now I want to be served at a table with napkins, real plates, etc. etc.  But we do have a fire pit out back where the grandkids now roast their marshmallows!  The question is always the same - Nana, do you want yours burnt? LOL  Hope you enjoy my card - it is a Kristy Smith image from Saturated Canary .  Used some old Bo Bunny papers and did a different fold so it is more fun to open up.  The left side of the card is folded back and I added another side to the right folded in.  The image is colored with my Copic Markers.  Have a great day - till next time - thanks for stopping by - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
