DR. DREADFUL'S APOTHECARY

Woo-Hoo - This card was showcased at Delicious Doodles!  Thanks for choosing my card and congrats to everyone!

Hi, There!

Trying to get some Halloween cards done so here is another card with my Graphic 45/Steampunk Spells paper and another Delicious Doodles Digital Image called Sparkling Cyanide!  I put lots of sparkles in his hair - love his hair!!  And there is a lot of bubbling going on in his apothecary.  I made a Book of Spells that is attached inside the card.  As you know by now, I am in love with these Graphic 45 papers!  Enjoy your evening, and thanks for visiting Dr. Dreadful's lab;) - I am sure he would love to give you a sample or two but lets just settle for a hug ~ CaroleAnn

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
C...is for Challenge  #6 - Make it Sparkle
Challenges 4 Everybody  #29 - Anything Goes
Delicious Doodles #54 - Gems and Blings

 Card Recipe:
Image is colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut him so that he stands up on the front of the card.  The card front folds flat and then you can open it up and it folds back on itself to stay open but there is more goodies inside - like a book of spells!  Added lots of glitter to his hair and some rhinestones for the bubbles of who knows what brewing from the vials of goodies:)

Open all the way: Book of Spells, and the Dr.'s sign are all from Graphic 45/Steampunk, and I attached some bat stickers and web photo corners from my stash and a die cut label to write a message.  But there is room inside the Spell Book to write a message!

SISTERS TAG CARD

Hi There!
I love this image from  Mo's Digital Pencil.  Appropriately called, Sisters and I am entering it in for Mo's "Anything Goes" challenge #201 and also for CLP Sketch Challenge #62 for the month of September.  This is a great sketch to follow!  I can't wait to send this to my sister!  It has a tag that you pull out and has a message on it.  Fun!   As it was already too dark out on the back porch, I had to take the picture of the card inside.  Not too happy with the results.
Till next time, thanks for spending some time with me today.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Image called Sisters was colored with Copic Markers; papers and stickers are from K&Company/Watercolor; edge die and MS punch; ribbon from stash

JOY FOLD CARD

Hi, There
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and for us here in the USA - we have a holiday "Labor Day" for Monday.  I love having Mondays off!!  So I got to create something different  - I changed up my card design with a different fold - called Joy Fold - this is a great card design to use when you have some fun coordinating papers to use!  There are some great card fold ideas at this website - so much information here!  Check it out - At Beccy's Place
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Till next time, thanks for stopping by, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
I would like to enter this card in the following challenge:
Stampin' for the Weekend - Colors of Summer
Card Recipe:
Image is from the artist, Elisabeth Bell.  Love her designs and this one is called Sun Kissed.  Colored her up with Copic Markers and used plenty of sparkles and liquid pearls.  Papers used are from Kaiser Craft called Humming Bird.  Now I put the tag up on the corner of the card to hold my card closed.  Tag reads: "A Little Birdie Told Me".   Bottom of stamped text reads:  "Its Your Special Day". Once you move the tag aside, it opens like this:
I put another tag inside so you could write a note to the special person.
Inside of Care:
Used a Birdcage tag - yes there is the little bird I added with a foam dot and I used some scallop designed on top.  Plenty of space for someone to write a message.
