HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIS

Hi, There!
I have to say the weather has been better and we did enjoy some sunshine over this weekend.  Now the forecast is snow again for tonight!!!  So most of my cards lately are pastel colors or spring like colors - at least I can enjoy some spring that way.  BUT - there are crocuses on the lawn so that is a good sign.  This card is for my Sister - my best friend - for her birthday in April!
I'm actually ahead of the game;)  I think she will like this card because she actually likes mice - so this little guy is just so cute I had to make a card for her using this image.  Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a happy and creative week!

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Mo's DP2 Challenge #177 - "For The Women In Our Lives"

Crafts and Me #125 - "Buttons and Bows" (use both)

CARD RECIPE

Digi Image - Dormouse from Mo's colored with my Copic markers and added some liquid pearls for sprinkles on this little mouse's cupcake.  I used a sketch from sketch & stash but as usual too late to post for their challenge:(  The paper is from Webster's Pages, flower from Recollections, buttons are from WOC, and my ribbon and lace and pearls from my stash.

HAPPY EASTER

Hi, There!
I am hoping for a very spring like Easter and I am having fun making spring like cards.  I just received some new goodies from Live and Love Crafts so it was the inspiration I needed to make this card and I am pleased with the outcome.  This image is gorgeous from Sugar Nellie called Flora.  These images are easy to color as they have the shading already done for you - takes some of the guessing out of where to shade with a darker color.  I love them!  So I thank you once again for taking a peek at my newest creation and I wish you a creative day of your own:) Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge #135 - Flowers for Spring

DEAR DIARY

Hi There!
We shoveled (hubby did) our way out this morning - at least 8 inches of snow and slush!  Oh, Spring where are you?  Now I know a few of us had a diary growing up and some of us still have our "grown up" diary/journal - I do and if I just write a line or two for the day it makes me feel good.  I guess my blog is a form of a diary too when I think about it - except not so private ;)  I love this image by Sara Burrier.  I wanted to enter it in the challenge over at Crafts and Me but I was a touch too late!  Don't you hate when that happens? LOL  Till next time, thanks for visiting with me and lets all think warm, sunshine full days - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Hi, there and Happy Spring to come - I think!

The first day of spring is to begin here on Wednesday.   Now this post will be up tonight and outside we have a snowstorm going on!!!  So I hope my spring card brings some warmer weather soon.  I want to see some pretty flowers like this cute little girl is enjoying.   This is called "Springtime" by the talented Krista Smith!  This was one of those cards that was fun to create from beginning to end.  Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope to be back with another card before the week is out!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

CAS - Color and Sketch Challenge #16 - "Sketch to follow" - this is a really cool sketch

No Matter Which Challenge #7  "Anything Goes" - yes easy peasy;)
Saturated Canary Challenge #39 - "Read All About It" - I made a book with spring greetings inside for this challenge

Card Recipe
Digi  Image by Krista Smith/Saturated Canary called "Springtime" I colored her with my Copic markers and I just had to color her hair in a hue of violet!!
I used my new papers from Graphic 45 called A Place In Time and also from Secret Garden - love these papers!  The corners on the image are from Secret Garden and I made a book from A Place In Time and each page has a  Spring Greeting.  The butterflies I cut out from the same paper and mounted to the image.  Used a white gel pen here and there and also my liquid pearl for her hair.

FAIRY TALES

Hi There!
I hope my post finds you all well.  We escaped the predicted snowfall here on the East Coast for now but the winds are strong out there so I think something is blowing in!!  On to my card - I love this image called "Fairy Tales" from Crafts and Me.  I was very fortunate to grow up with my mother reading us many fairy tales and I loved them all.  I have always been drawn to the fairy world so this was an easy-peasy card for me to create.  I had fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I love reading all your comments - thanks for taking the time to tell me your thoughts on my cards.  It is always appreciated even if I don't get back to you as often as I would love to.  One day I hope to retire and do this full time - just make cards, blog with you all day and never get out of my PJ's!!  A girl can dream - like fairy tales ;)
Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge - #133 Fairy Tales/Fantasy

CLP Challenge Sketch #56 - I get such inspiration from this website - their sketches are just beautiful - you have to visit them if you have not already!

Crafts and Me #123 - Tag It - Now I hope I am not stretching this but I put in the little "tag" as a sign for which way to Fairyland!  Just had to show someone at Crafts and Me that I used their image!

Card Recipe
Digi Image - Fairy Tales colored with copic markers and used stardust and liquid pearls here and there!  What are fairies without sparkle! The great paper is from Recollections called Habitat.  My lace trim is from Ribbon Girl, the flower and corner filigree from WOC, tag is from Crafty Secrets stamp set called Fairyland!  I fussy cut the mushrooms from the DP which I was fighting with myself not to do since this paper is just beautiful but it added to the scene nicely, I think.

Hi There!

I was browsing the internet and found this great little shop - Scrap A Doodle Doo -  right in my backyard to where I work! So yes! On my lunch hour,  I went to visit and left behind a good portion of my wallet!  But it was worth it as I found some great papers and embellies! (Like I needed more ;)  Then I see Delicious Doodles is having a challenge using the color "yellow" and everything kind of fell together - using my new paper and a great digi image from Delicious Doodles called Fae - love these images.  So here is my card that I would like to enter for the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles - using the color Yellow
