Fairy Card - one more time!

Okay - I am home from work and suppose to be cleaning but - - just one more card with this image and I will move on - I promise - maybe - we'll see - LOL   thanks for stopping by again and have a great weekend!   Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Once again I used Webster's Pages and that great Digi image from Krista Smith; colored with Copic markers - this paper did not blend the way I wanted it to but since these prior attempts I have found that Recollections white card stock works real well with Copic Markers; embellishments with Recollections pearls and blue flowers and the yummy pink velvet flower is from Prima!

Fairy Cards

Hi There!
I found the world of digi images and I do not think I will be looking back!  (Not putting away my rubber stamps - just enjoying a new adventure.)

I love anything to do with the Fairy World!  So these images are right up my alley.  Hope you like them and check out this wonderful artist Krista Smith  of Saturated Canary - in case my link does not work - see my list of blogs I love to follow.

I will be quiet for awhile - no posting - my daughter is arriving from Minnesota to spend some time with us - I am sure our New York weather will seem like summer to her!  I will be back soon - hopefully with some new cards and no doubt more great digi images!  Hugs ~ Carole Ann

Best Friends Card

Hi, There!
Hope you had a great weekend - snow and all for a lot of us!  It was a good weekend for me to make some homemade chicken soup and some beef stew - fridge is stocked!  My daughter, hubby and I got in a game of clue and  - I won!!  It was Madame Rose, in the Study with the Knife!!  Love that game;)  The movie is hysterical - at least I think it is - one of those movies I watch over and over and still laugh hard:)

So I did not get much done other than cooking and playing a game but I had this card waiting to be posted.  I hope you like it - until next time - take care - happy card making to all!

Hello Friends Card

Hi, There

This card is to all my new found blogger friends and friends to yet be made!  Thanks for all the encouragement by leaving comments for me!  I feel like a ghost writer and I laugh at myself but the bottom line is I am having so much fun with this!  Not to mention how much I can learn from all you seasoned bloggers and not to even mention your talents in paper crafting!  Amazing!

Any body into American Idol?  Well, this grandmother has been a fan of American Idol for 6 years!!  So I have to make this short - no cards getting made on Wednesday and Thursday nights:(  Till my next post - thanks so much for stopping by - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Girl with Roses Card

Hi, There
I once made many cards for my Mom - years ago.  She loved roses and back then my cards would pass for the CAS sample - which I believe means "clean and simple".  So if I could, I would re-do this card and add my now beloved blings etc. but I can't find the picture element that I used on this card  -  stashed somewhere in my piles of favorite folders!  Well, this is a short post - have to go shopping with my grandson so till next post - take care - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

My Sister's Card

Hi There!

Well, I almost thought I wouldn't even get to posting tonight.  Late night for getting any crafting done.  But I did make a card for my sister so here it is and I took a couple of shots of it.  It is an easel card which means once it is opened, you can display the art work.  These are my favorite cards to make and since it was for Gina, I went all out on this one!  Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend - do something fun!!  Until my next post - take care.    Hugs  ~ CaroleAnn

Pretty Flower Cards for You

Hello There - hope you are having a good Tuesday evening - I have to get back to work in my craft room to get started on a "sister" card.  Do you have lots of stashes of goodies in whatever your craft of interest is?

I was looking for something to make one card and came up with these great "sister" embellishments that I forgot I had.  So no excuse now - need to work on my sister's surprise card.  Wish she had Internet then she would know it is coming her way - but then it would not be a surprise!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy viewing these cards.  Leave me a comment or two if you stop by - love to hear from you!  Or join up as a follower and I will know you are there checking in now or then!    Till next post -  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Here is my savor those special moments card for you! (Sorry I used the same girlie stamp - I have a pile of these little people to incorporate into cards - bear with me.)  Till my next post - I wish you many special moments.  Hugs  ~  CaroleAnn

Tea Card for You

Hi, there

As I was driving to work yesterday morning, I put on my sunglasses and noticed they felt snug!!??  I think all this holiday binging has caught up to my face!!!  In any case, here is my Tea Card for You.  (I think tea is all I will be allowed to digest for a while;). Next, I will try my hand at a Coffee Card.  Till my next post - which will not be until after this weekend - thanks for stopping by and it has been fun blogging this week for first time around.   So I wish you a great weekend!  Do something fun - which for you is??  For me it means, no phones, no appointments, and trying to beat my daughter and husband in a game of Clue !!   Hugs  ~  CaroleAnn

Copic Marker Combinations

Hi, there - As you can see from my photo, I really like my "Stampavie" girls.  They still need to be incorporated into cards, but the fun part of coloring is now completed!  I'm always a little bit sad when the coloring has come to an end - at least on this project.  Once again thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you have a "rainbow" type of day!  Hugs  ~  CaroleAnn

Copic Markers

Hi There!

Do you have a favorite media for coloring? I took classes in oil and acrylic, and pen and ink, also tried pastels and watercolor and I liked it all.  But I am personally crazy about my Copic markers.  I will even purchase my art stamps that will appeal to the need to color - so they have to have a lot of room to "color".  An adult that can play like a child!  What better hobby to be involved in.  Here's my card or cards - I surprised myself with more energy than I thought I had. Hope you like them.  Thanks for visiting and come back soon - stay warm as it is freezing here in upstate New York!   Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Card In Progress

Hi, There!

Well, I apologize if I was too "Chatty" yesterday morning - have to control those newly found Blogging fingers:)
So I am going to keep this short - actually have to get ready for work.
Here is a picture of my card in progress - hopefully I will have it done and uploaded by tonight.  Still working on that banner idea - maybe this photo would work?  Whatcha think?  Thanks for joining me for a quick cup of coffee, tea, juice and/or milk?  My preference is coffee - now that's an idea - coffee and/or tea cards!!  Never enough time in a day for all the card ideas! - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Belated Happy New Year

Hi, there!

How remiss of me not to wish everyone a Happy New Year - or whatever your wish is for that something special that will bring you happiness or maybe a few of your favorite things.  Speaking of "a few of your favorite things", I was sitting in my chair last night (reading a book on how to blog;) and looked over at the table and decided to take a photo (or two) of what I was looking at that made me smile - posted below -  and I can say these are a few of my favorite things.  Now to tell you what each one is - well, that would be a journal in itself - and yes that is a sneaker in the background - one of my favorite things to do - search for new sneakers for my tired feet  - so next time - perhaps one image at a time?!  I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I would like to upload a new banner and clueless how to start.  Maybe a collage photo of some of my cards?  Till next time - have a great day.

My First Blog Note

Hello Everyone

Here goes my first blog note that is exciting to me and a little bit intimidating - how much of myself do I reveal?  Well, I love designing greeting cards - that's obvious.  This blog is starting due to the fact that some of the most beautiful cards I have seen are on some of the most beautiful blogs!  So now my New Year's resolution - among many - has begun!  Try to create an appealing blog site for a friend or two to visit with me!  I have posted one of my easel cards here and my profile shot is one of my cards too.  Well, I hope this turns into an adventure of a lifetime for me.  Thanks so much for dropping by and till the next post - "If every day is an awakening, you will never grow old.  You will just keep growing." - Gail Sheehy
