BUTTERFLY HAPPINESS

Hi, There!

The challenge over at Ching-Chou Kuik for the month of June is Butterflies:)  So I just had to be part of this challenge as I love butterflies.  They are so pretty, gentle, happy and peaceful fluttering around your garden.  His way of saying enjoy the nature I created for you.  

I wish I had a garden devoted to just the butterflies .... but I do have hummingbird feeders that are blessed with daily visitors of brilliant colors!!!   

We actually had a pheasant visiting us for awhile and he was so much fun to watch - now I hope he has just found better feeding grounds and nothing happened to him.  We also have a male wild turkey that loves to strut his stuff around the wild female turkeys that come to feed here too!!!  Yes - jungle habitat here!!  LOL  Till next time, enjoy nature when you can, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Image in a frame from IO - doubled that frame.  Background is paper I used Distress Oxide ink - Worn Lipstick and also stamped butterflies with same distress ink.  Wink of Stella in her hair, glossy accents in her eyes and stardust here and there on butterflies.  Image has been mounted with foam tape.

HAPPY 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!

Hi, There!!

Yes indeed!!!  50 years have gone by in a wink of an eye and I can't believe it!!!  We are so blessed to have one another and all the blessings that the good Lord has bestowed on us.  We are so very happy and lucky and I praise and honor You Lord for giving us each other to love and to cherish for all these years.

I made this card back in 2012 and we just rotate it to each other each year as my private note inside says it all and it is so us - sitting and watching the birds come to our bird feeders!!!  Joy in all the simple things in life have given us such tremendous happiness.

Have a wonderful weekend and we will be enjoying a quiet dinner at our very favorite restaurant later tonight!!!  All diet plans are off for tonight!!!  Yippee!!!!!  Bring on the big plates, good wine, and oogie-gooey desserts!!!!  Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn
