WEE STAMP - AMY

Hi, There!

I think I will have to start making cards with plenty of flowers and fun, bright, colors as this cold weather is getting to me (joint wise) and it is now snowing here again!!!

My husband and I took a little overnight trip to Lititz, PA - such pretty country even in the dead of winter.  A good friend and coworker of mine was retiring and all our contact was via phone and emails so we never met but worked together for over 20 years!  So I was determined to meet her and wish her well.  It was fun to meet her and also got to meet her replacements so I now have faces to go with the voices and emails that will continue.  But really no one can replace, my friend, Donna!

But this card is for the Innkeepers of the B&B that we stayed at overnight.  The Alden House - lovely place and it was warm, clean, and inviting and the Innkeepers, Lynndell and John, were very friendly. This house was decorated with such detail to everything - I had fun looking at everything from hand painted gourds, to the little hearts scattered around the furniture for the month of February's Valentine Theme! Great little shops to visit in the lovely, quaint town of Lititz!!  Love those little hidden towns that have kept their true Americana feeling!

Thanks for visiting with me and stay warm and lets just think flowers;) Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Whimsy Stamps Challenge #79 - New Beginnings

Stamp Smiles: Flashback Friday Challenge "Its Only Words"

Card Recipe:
Digital Image - not sure how long I have had this image as I just found it in my files to be colored - Wee Stamps/Amy    She has been colored up with Copic and Spectrum Noir Markers and of course, a sprinkle of Star Dust and some Glossy Accent for her heart balloon.  The sentiment is from an "old" Stampin Up stamp that I also dug out of a box!!!  The label is from Spellbinders and the frame over the digital image is from IO and then I found these sequin butterflies and flowers that are also very old but sequins are in now;)  Paper background is from Webster Pages!
