WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF.....

Hi, There!

Just finished this card and had to load it up.  Plenty of inspiration over at Penny Black, Inc. site and this is one of the ideas I saw and was so excited to try it out.

I used Distress Inks directly to my stamp and then used a water brush to pull the color out on my card stock.  The edge for my card is the masking I did to get the edged frame in place around part of my flower and I used Distress Ink (Brushed Corduroy) to complete this look.  Some sequins here and there and Wink of Stella only in the edged frame.  Thank you so much for visiting me, have a great night/or day - hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Image is a Penny Black Stamp - A Moment In Time
Sentiment is a Penny Black Stamp - Faith

Image was painted on a watercolor paper - cold press, 140 lb weight.  Attached black card stock to one side of a white 5 x 7 base card and mounted the image with foam tape.  This is a beautiful stamp.

I used the We R Memory Keeper's Precision Press Stamping Tool ( like a Misti but cheaper in cost) so I could keep adding the distress inks from light to dark to get the shading I needed without ever moving my card stock from the tool and just kept re-inking as I needed.

HINT:  I was almost going to give up on this tool, and was thinking of getting the Misti but found the solution to my problem.  My paper would never stay in place for the re-inking and it moves more with the thick watercolor paper.

So - If you find your card stock moves when you stamp and need to re-stamp -  an idea - I found in Walmart some magnet adhesive sheets and I adhered one of these on the back of this tool so now nothing moves when I apply my magnets on top of my card stock as I am re-stamping.  Doing a happy dance to solve a problem and save some $$$ - to buy something else!!!!;)
