SISTERS ARE SPECIAL = LOVE

Hi There!
Have you ever started coloring an image and realize it has truly become a labor of love?  Well, this happened to me with this adorable image by Krista Smith - "secrets".  Now what sisters do  not have secrets?!  We had plenty - some good - some not so good.  But they were our secrets to keep and share.  Nothing like a bond between two sisters and I am especially blessed to have such a close relationship with my sister - so this card is for you Sis!  Hope to get it mailed tomorrow!

I had this image for a long time and just got around to coloring it on Saturday but it took two hours to color!   It doesn't help when you are a bit of a perfectionist too with your colors;)  I never thought that much labor of love would be needed but it was worth every minute as I am pleased with all the colors and I think my Sissy will like it.  I kept the design relatively simple so as to show off this great digi image by Krista.  And then later after loading it up - I did add some liquid pearls here and there but just never got around to reloading the picture.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week - I have today off so my week has already started off with a bang!!! Yes!  Big Hugs,  CaroleAnn

BABY SHOWER CARD

Hi, There!
I am excited about this card as it came out better than I thought.  I love this digi image by Mosdigitalpencil.  Even though it is a girl image, I liked it so much just had to use it and just colored it up with my Copic markers in blues and pinks.  Lots of stardust and liquid pearls.  Now the whole card is  mounted onto a very fancy heavy card stock that a friend gave me that she received from a print shop.  These cards have matching envelopes.  They are really elegant and I am so grateful to Bonnie for giving them to me to use as I wish! It made the card that much more special and I hope you can see it in the photos.  This card is going to be given to a very special person in my life and I can't wait to go baby clothes shopping tomorrow!

Digi Image is MosDP2 - Baby Girl and colored with Copic markers.  The papers used are from my stash and have been mounted onto kraft paper and the Lili of the Valley sentiment was stamped on kraft paper, fussy cut and mounted with a 3D foam, Doily is from WOC, the tag on the upper left is from Graphic 45's Little Darlings which I tied two pieces of pink and blue tulle thru,  lots of pearl swirls from Recollections.  I wrapped some lace around a piece of kraft paper for my MS edge punch, and then added the flowers and "baby" stickers.  The silver filigree corners are from WOC.  More pictures to follow below.  Thanks for taking a peep.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

FLOWERS FOR YOU - CAS STYLE

Hi, There!
Can't find flowers to look at outside so I decided to make a card with some flowers.  Daisies!  Love daisies - so here is a little bit of spring for you.  Wanted to keep this as a CAS card so I reached for my ever faithful stickers from my stash, a dark green cardstock, a Verve sentiment on a MS punch, a few rhinestones here and there,  and this is what I came up with! I slipped the back of the card inside the envelope, so that is the white you see in the photo.

Hope you have had a good week and tomorrow is Friday so I am super happy tonight!  I hope to get some digi images colored this weekend.  Have not done too much lately.  Have a great weekend and do something fun and creative for yourself.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

LOVE CARD

Hi, There
And a Happy Valentine's Day to you a few days early.  I made this for my sister and want to send it out so she gets it in time - or perhaps not - but it's the thought that counts;)  I think she will like it as I love the image and I like her dress - I think we had a dress like this in our closet growing up.  Once again, photo makes the dress look peach instead of pink.  Hope you are staying warm, lots of snow here - I think I should make some cards with flowers to help think of Spring!  Thanks for stopping by and see you next time.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

LOVE LETTERS

Hi There!
We are almost there to hump day for the work week!  Yeah!!  More snow here again so I am already sweating the drive to work!  Making this card took my mind off it for a while:)  After I made the card, I realized I should have used glitter on the sentiment as perhaps it would have showed up more.  I had fun making the letters that went inside the little vellum envelopes.  The ribbon and heart rhinestones are from my stash.  The paper is from BoBunny.  Next project has to be a coloring project ;)  Thanks for stopping by until next time - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

CHELSEA - THINKING OF YOU

Hi There!
I told you it would happen - the need for this and that and this and that to arrange and rearrange!  So here is my card.  The image is from Chelsea - Artist is Hannah Lynn - one of my many favorite Crafts and Me digi images.  So much fun to color with my Copic markers and I used lots of stardust and liquid pearls and different color stickles for the inside of the treasure chest.  Papers are from K&C/Travel, for the circle image needed I used my circle punch along with a MS punch.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

ALL THINGS GROW WITH LOVE

Hi, There!
I love that phrase and if my grandchildren are any example of that, I guess it is true because I love them to bits and my grandson that is only 14 yrs old is 6 feet 3 1/2 inches tall!!  Yes basketball is his thing and he has already made the varsity team!!! Proud Grandma - I am:)
Well, back to the card, after the Less Is More card, I decided to dig thru my stash box and found all these great stickers and pictures and here we go - nice and simple - some ribbon down the center, a few rhinestones in the corners, and a spring time picture!  I slipped the back of the card inside its envelope so that is the white you see in the photo. This is for my "quick card box".  Hope you have a great weekend.  I have the need to color and use my copic markers and collage away so that is my next project.  Thanks so much for all your comments, it is what makes my day so here is to all of you - blessings always,  keep a smile in your heart, Big Hugs  ~  CaroleAnn
