ANGELS ARE CHARTING YOUR COURSE

Hi, There!

It is Friday so my DT inspiration card for QKR Stampede's challenge for this week which is always anything goes! So play along and maybe win a digital image of your chose!

My card is full of inspiration as it was made out of the inspiration I witnessed in church.  My daughter renewed her faith in Jesus and this card is for her and her new walk of faith in Him.  A very happy moment in both our lives!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, may you have a blessed week, hugs always ~ CaroleAnn

CARD RECIPE:
Digital Image #14801 and sentiment #14718
The image is colored with Copic Markers and I used a die frame from Precious Marieke to frame the image.  I used a cloud stencil from MFT to make the angel look as if she was floating in the heavens. Behind the image is a Corrina Background that I layered over some blue sparkle paper from my stash.  The tag flag I drew, fussy cut, and used Distress Oxide Inks to color it in, Spice Marmalade and Picked Raspberry.
DP is from Kaiser Craft/Blessed and the popout arrows are also from that Designer 6 x 6 pad.

LETS GET TOGETHER & GIGGLE!

Hi, There! (My third post of the day)

Friends can be so special in your life - you can have times to giggle or times to cry - with your friends - but no matter what - they are there for you when you need them!!!

I have been blessed with a number of close friends in my time and we have had our moments of giggles and tears.  I pray for them to be blessed always, as they have blessed me with their friendships.

These two bunnies are just waiting to have some fun together!  Colored with Copic Markers, the background paper is from SU, images from Whimsy Stamps, the sentiment is from SU,  border punch is from MS, and yes  --   I got to use my seam binding dyed ribbon!!!!!  LOL

Enamel dots from my stash.  Thanks so much for putting up with all my rabbit cards!!!  But I needed some simple, childlike cards for my donations (not that I wouldn't send these to an adult - I would)!  Hugs and blessings ~  CaroleAnn

Hello - Spring Time!!!

Hi, There! (Second Post for the day)

Too early for tulips here but I like to think flowers and bunnies since it is still so cold here - at least for me it is!

Made another CAS card today with another bunny but this one is in the pink!!!  So it is a "she".  Background I used MFT cloud stencil and Bundled Sage distress oxide ink for ground.  Stamped some grass.

Popped on the bunny and a die cut planter.  Used some die cut tulips left over from another project.  Bunny and ladybugs colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from my stash, the images except for the tulips and sentiment, are all from the Whimsy Stamp kit.  Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

JUST A NOTE

Hi, There!

You will get bored I am sure with all my bunny cards but need some to replenish my donation box and since these little guys have all been colored up I am using them on the different card makes.

This is a CAS card.  Background done with distress oxide inks, Tumble Glass and Bundled Sage.  Then I stamped the grass and the flower.  Popped on the bunny and the ladybugs.

Stardust added to bunny ears and bottom of his feet and on the ladybug flying.  All clear stamped images are from the Whimsy Stamp March kit except for the flying ladybug that stamp is from Hero Arts.  Sentiment is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

This is an A2 card

HOPPY EASTER

Hi, There!

Yes, I just had to make another card with one of these adorable bunnies!!!

This is not a shaker card but I used the frame and added acetate to the back of the frame and placed that over my little background scene.  Unfortunately, I had some glare in the photo and it is my big head in the reflection:(  LOL

I used Distress Oxide Ink/Mermaid Lagoon with a cloud background rubber stamp that came with the March Whimsy Stamp Kit.

I cut a green hill from the DP with the kit, added a ladybug in the background, added a die cut white fence and grass to the scene.

A ladybug on the outside of the frame.  Bunny is colored with Copic Markers and popped up on top of his die cut egg.  Stardust added here and there and some Wink of Stella.  The sentiment is from the kit.

I forgot to use my newly dyed seam binding but, alas, there was not a space left to add it if I wanted to!!!  Guess I will make another bunny card to accommodate my ribbon!  LOL  Till next time, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

SEAM BIND COLORING!!!!

Hi, There!

What fun I had last night.  I found a few tutorials on YouTube about coloring your own seam binding.  I happen to love the bows you can get with seam binding especially when you crinkle it up.  Has a rather vintage look to it when you are done.

So I took some photos of what I did and you should have seen my hands by the time I was finished!!!!  Next time I will wear disposable gloves.  But having inky hands is what it is all about for us paper crafters.

This was like coloring Easter eggs so much fun.  The frugal crafter YouTube is what I watched beside others if you want to check it out.  This isn't new it is old but new to me so I just had to try it out!!!

I plan to adorn some of my spring cards with some of these bright ribbons!!!  See ya later and thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

My seam binding drying overnight.  You crinkle it up while it is wet and leave it - at least I left it overnight and then this morning I put them in the tins I would be storing them in and dried with my heat gun.
Heat drying to make sure they are all completely dry.
Seam product used - bought on Amazon.
All stored.  I used Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color these and some had glitter in them - real pretty in the ribbon - but since I sometimes donate my cards, I have to keep the glitter ones separate from the pack so as not to contaminate any of those ribbons for cards!  You can just add some shimmer spray if you want some of the others to glitter;)  You can use your distress inks too, I just wanted to use some of these sprays since they have been sitting there neglected for some time;)

HOPPY SPRING TO YOU!!!

Hi, There!

Hoppy, Happy Spring - a day late but here it is!!!!  I saw many robins yesterday on one of my walks so that is very encouraging for this neck of the woods.  But today is cold, damp, and rainy.

Perfect day for me to finish up this adorable bunny.  I made another shaker card and I just fell in love with this bunny when I saw his face.  He has a lot of large eggs he just delivered in many different colors!! Lots of fun coloring going on here too, the eggs were cut out with the included die in the kit - this is from Whimsy Stamps.

Thanks for hopping by and taking a peek, hope to see you back tomorrow for my DT inspiration for the QKR Stampede Challenge.  Till then, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Clear Stamp from Paper Door/Whimsy Stamp/March Kit   Used Copic Markers for the bunny.
Background of shaker window is from the kit and I added my sequins from my stash - very spring-like colors.  The eggs I cut from the included die and used more of the paper included.  Sentiment embossed in black from the same kit.

WISH I MAY WISH I MIGHT

Hi There!

Too cold outside to be gazing at the starry night but once the warmer weather is here, that is something to behold as we do not have that much light pollution.

My daughter eyed this background that I made and wanted a card made with it.  So this is for her birthday next week.  I think she will like it as the little girl silhouette reminds me of her with the two pigtails that she had at that age!

This little girl and her kitty seem to be enjoying the night sky.  It will be more daylight for us starting this weekend!!!! Yay!!!  Thanks for stopping by and hugs and blessings always ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Hero Arts/Star Light Star Bright Bold Prints background - used Distress Oxide Inks to make this background.  Added some stardust to a few of the stars.  Over the background, using Versafine Black ink, stamped images from Hero Arts/Wish I Might stamp set - tree, little girl, swing, grass, and kitty.
Used a die from LaLaLand Crafts/January 2017 Kit - cut the words "Make A Wish" from silver glitter paper.  The sentiment embossed in silver is from the same kit "It's Your Birthday".  This is an A2 size card.

Word Art Wednesday - Scripture

Hi, There!

I wanted to give this a try over at Word Art Wednesday as they supply you with a digital Scripture as an optional part of their challenge. I am reading Ephesians right now so this was perfect for me.  Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings always ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Digital Scripture/Ephesians 2:6 - framed the Scripture with a die cut frame from Precious Marieke/Rustic.  Used Distress Oxide Inks for blending around the frame - Tea Dye, Mustard Seed, and Fossilized Amber.

Used the same frame in a larger size behind the sentiment and mounted to the background paper which is from Recollections/Botanica.  Tied red and black twine around the Scripture label, attached with 3D foam and added a Martha Stewart punch butterfly and the black rhinestones are from my stash.

BUTTERFLIES ARE HAPPINESS

Hi, There!

Well, the next best thing to dreaming about flowers is dreaming about butterflies.  So for our Friday Weekly Challenge at QKR Stampede, I just had to color a few and here they are all nestled on my card!  Found a great sentiment to complete the card.

Butterflies are special to me.  Many years ago, when I was down in Florida with my sister and Mom, we were standing at my Dad's grave when a butterfly came fluttering about just hovering around the three of us!!!!  So yes, they are special to me;)

Come join us at QKR Stampede for fun and enter the challenge - always Anything Goes!!  Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
QKR Digital Images - Sentiment #40403    Butterfly #58901
Copic Markers:  Y13 Y15 Y38 YR07  Fussy cut and applied to card front with 3D foam
The card base is black and the background papers are from my stash.  I used a Gold Leaf pen to make a border around the polka dot paper.  The sentiment was cut out with a frame die from Sue Wilson/Creative Expressions and I used Distress Oxide Inks for blending around the edges: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade.  Filigree gold corners are also from my stash.  I can't believe it but I used no Stardust on this card but I think it stands on its own without the sparkle!
