MAKE A WISH

Hi, There!

Hope you are having a great day.  The sun is shining so brightly here and it feels warm coming thru the windows.  So this is a fast post because I would like to take a walk while the sun is still shining!

This image just shines on her own with those big sparkly eyes.  I had fun coloring her up and adding some details to her shirt and pants.  I was inspired by a card I saw over at Little Butterfly Creations so I did the same design with the same image - Anja, thanks for the inspiration I love your cards!!

Thanks for stopping by and go catch some sun rays if you are lucky to have them today!!  Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Hi, There!

I seem to be on a coffee kick but the caffeine kick is what I need too!!!  LOL  This image is from Mos Digital Pencil and she is cute but the sentiment is what got me since I am a big coffee drinker.  So I decided to make a card for my hubby for his upcoming birthday with this image and sentiments.

Also as you scroll below I made a second card with the same image and used some word chipboards from Make It Crafty.  This one will go to my sister!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

OPEN WIDE!!!

Hi, There!

I have had these House Mouse Decoupage sheets from Joanna Sheen for so long and as usual just located them in my stash.  So I just had to make a card with this delightful and funny image of these adorable critters!  I had some trouble cutting them out and this is my first time trying to decoupage them so not the greatest but oh, what fun it was putting them together.  I was smiling the whole time!

Sending this to my sister as she loves these mice.  I have more to put together too so she will be happy when the cards arrive!

I mounted the design on some polka dot paper from my stash and added some Stardust glitter here and there but that was it.  These images stand alone - so darn cute!!!!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find something to work on in your stash that puts a smile on your face:)  Hugs, and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

COFFEE WITH FRIENDS

Hi, There!

This stamp image was perfect for me today.  I have been invited to visit a friend at her home for coffee and chit-chat!  So I wanted to make a card for her to bring with me along with a goodie to eat.  (Not sure what I am making yet.)

Now another friend has also been invited so I made her a card also of the same image. (Second photo) Just love when things just fall into place for themselves!!

Hope you are having a great weekend and will be sharing some special time with a friend or two.  Until my next post, hugs, and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Both card images were colored with Copic markers and the image is from Deep Red/Coffee with Friends - this was in the kit with the Scrapping For Less for the month.  Papers on background and scraps from the same kit.  I used my twine around each card.  From my stash, I used a piece of craft paper to make a border on the one card and added a charm to each card.  The rhinestones and sequins also from the kit.  Cup and coffee swirls were touched up with Wink of Stella.

BIG 50!!!

Hi, There!

Made this card from one of the card kits from Scrapping For Less and the stamp image is from Averyelle/Cool Beans. Coffee cups and sentiments are from the kit.  I did fussy cut the coffee cups and colored them with colored pencils.  Stitched circle cut from my stash.  Flag tag from ODBD and I cut out the number 50!!!

My oldest son will be 50 - now that really dates me too!!!  LOL  The card base and the pattern background papers used are from the kit.  I used foam tape to pop the background upon a piece of black cardstock for dimension.  Used some mini stamps from the set - coffee beans and a heart.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day, until next time, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

NEED COFFEE!!!

Hi, There!

I joined a monthly club called Scrapping For Less and this is the first package I received with lots of goodies to choose from.  The theme is coffee - so right up my alley for this month.  You also get card sketches to jump-start your creative juices - which I need along with my coffee!!

So as you are peeking thru my blog, I hope you have your favorite beverage with you and thanks for having a cup of coffee with me as we visit together!!!

I love this adorable image and I love her bunny slippers too!  I do not have to worry about putting my hair in rollers as it is too short for that - but I do have a pink bathrobe and a big mug of coffee!!!  Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

LOVE AND HOT COCOA

Hi, There!

Today is a hot cocoa day for me as it is 26 degrees with a wind chill factor of -13!!!!!!!

So I found this pretty miss with her hot cocoa and hearts.  Since February is the month of hearts, I am searching thru my digital stash for more heart-related images to color.  Found two with big hair and big eyes so I will be coloring those images next for cards. I have not colored that type for a while.  That is definitely my "thing"!!!  LOL

Now onto to this card, it is a square card, with a die cut stitched heart and shaded with Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  Sequins added from 28 Lilac Lane/Valentine  I used white Liquid Pearls for her whip cream on top of her hot cocoa (she is after my heart with that:)

Star Dust on her wings and around the image.  Wink of Stella on her outfit.  Papers from Lost & Found/Heirloom.  Heart button and ticket for x's and o's, and hanging tags from stash.

I used some of the papers behind the image in strips and covered with some mesh lace and a Memory Box/Heart Chain Border die cut.

Thanks for stopping by and stay warm with your favorite beverage!  Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

GOODY GOODY GUMDROPS!

Hi, There!

Back again with my next fun shaker card.  This is the jar version of the shaker kit and the stamp set has some cute stamps that you get the dies with to cut out your labels!!!  So darn cute!!!

All products, except where mentioned, are from the kit from Queen & Co.  The cord is from my stash.  The sentiment is from the kit and so is the sentiment on the little label I applied to my acetate window on the jar.  The jar has a separate lid that I popped up with foam tape.

I used the extra die cut backing from the jar and stamped some gum drops that went inside the jar and used the poppers with the kit but also added my own crystal clear confetti for some more shimmer and those crystals are from Studio Katia.

Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings - CaroleAnn
Now I want some gumdrops!!!!  LOL
