Beautiful Pixie Challenge Card

Hi, There!

Well, I got my card done in time - surprised myself!  But I was determined to give this challenge a shot as I just love A Day for Daisies images.  I used "Beautiful Pixie" Digi and colored her with my Copic Markers.  The paper I used is Graphic45 Once Upon A Springtime Collection - another favorite of mine!!  I used a doily and some tissue paper I had in my stash for some texture background.  The flowered frames are from Recollections that I had for a long time just waiting for the moment for a card!  A pink rhinestone here and there from Shabby Chic and I put a little glitter on her wings and she's done!!
Hope you like it - this has been fun!  I have two more images like this to color which I will play around with other colors.  Thanks for stopping to take a peek and I will catch up with you later this week.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Nostalgic Sundays for Cards

Hi, Everyone
Busy weekend but better late than never - hope you had a good weekend. They go too darn fast - don't they!  Monday is here before I am ready for it!  I made this card by using a die cut from a kit and I stamped the background in a script text.  I remember this card being fun and fast to make - should have made more of  them!  I will be back during the middle of the week - thanks for stopping by and  until my  next post - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Take Time to Smell the Flowers

Hi, There!

Happy middle of the week - love Wednesday so much closer to Friday;)  Last night, I went into my stash of Copic colored images and decided to finish them up - actually made 4 cards - all of same stamp - just different colors and elements.  I am thinking of entering a challenge at A Day for Daisies (see Blogs I Follow) if I can make the card in time but it will be my first step into the "enter the challenge world"!  I do not think I will be able to post after tonight so have a great weekend - here in the East we are experiencing some great spring like weather - loving it!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
Stamp for all cards is by Sarah Kay - Stampavie; All Flowers are Prima and papers used are all from  Websters Pages.  Pearls are Recollections.  Label is Spellbinders and text stamp used is from Verve; clip from my stash.

Text stamped onto DP with Verve stamp

 Love these velvet roses

Nostalgic Sundays for Cards

Sundays will be my nostalgic Sundays for cards and they will be cards that I have made very long ago.  It is kind of fun to see how you grow and change in style, colors, elements and artistic abilities.  So I am going to go thru some of my older version of greeting cards and load one up for each Sunday - Sunday permitting I should say ;) Now these will be old enough that I will not have any info on the papers etc. incorporated to make these cards.  Just fun to take a journey thru creative styles!   Enjoy and I will be back with something new for this coming week!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I thought this little cutie would be good to start with since it is February - Valentine's Month.

Love Your Friendship Card

Happy Friday Evening!

Looking forward to the weekend - although I still have to put Christmas decorations away - ugh!  Love the decorating but so dislike taking it down and putting it away - I am a little behind this year - ya think!
Here is a fast little card I made - hope you like it -  I searched and searched and finally found that Martha Stewart punch so I had to use it with my flower here!  Stamp is from Sweet n Sassy - I like this little mouse!  Papers are from my ton of scraps;) I used a  Prima flower and glued a heart in the center and added some Recollection rhinestones.  Have a great weekend!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

FLOWER CARD

Hi, There

I knew I would be making this flower card - felt it in my veins!  I guess with all the Valentine stuff going on - it put me in the mood for flowers - thank goodness it hasn't been candy yet .  But the week is young!

I found this photo in a magazine and that was my inspiration to make this card plus I wanted to use this paper and my new scroll punch!!  Hope you like it.  Have a great week and I hope to be able to post one more card before week is out.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

This was my inspiration - such a pretty table setting!

And this is my card - I love my new scroll punch from MB.  Stamp is one of my many Verve stamp sets - "Hope Blooms" -  used the stamp on a MS punch which I used some liq pearls on it; paper is Tim Coffey and blue background is Bazzill;  butterfly and pearl adhesive is from Recollections and I used a doily.

Valentine Cards

Hi There!

I have a Valentine card for my sister and one I am giving my hubby.  Can't believe I am a few days ahead but then again I do not usually make Valentine cards but blogging now has given me more reasons to create my cards to share with you!  Well, I have a new DVD to check out - "Dance with MaDonna Grimes" - trying to burn some extra calories other than the ones I burn when I walk everyday on my lunch hour - not like I am anticipating a lot of candy for next week ;)  Have a great weekend and I am beginning to think spring so maybe some spring like cards will be created soon.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

This is the first time I tried making what I consider a "small" card - 4 1/2 square
Digi Stamp is from Sweet n Sassy and colored with Copic markers.  The DP is BoBunny.  Adhesive trim and hearts from Recollections and ribbon is from Michael's.  Eyelet punch from MS.
This is my usual 6 1/2 square and DP is BoBunny.  Digi again is Sweet n Sassy and adhesives are Recollections.  The blue ribbon addition on this card is from Flourishes.

MISS YOU CARD

Hi, There

Good to be back but I do miss my daughter.  I made this card for her to go along with a pair of gloves I found on one of my shopping sprees with my granddaughter.  Hope to be back with a Valentine card - so much to catch up on now - work included - where does all the mail come from????? Not mention my email box in work?!  Well, take care - hope you were all in a creative mood while I was away - will be checking your blogs this week.  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
My sister sent me this card that had this saying in it - luv it!  "If I could hug you every time I think about you -- you'd be smooshed!"

I wrote miss you on the piece of note paper the mouse is holding but after I took the shot.  The stamp is from Sweet N Sassy - Cocoa the mouse colored with Copic markers.  Flowers are Prima, adhesives are Recollections, and paper from My Minds Eye/A Beautiful Life.  Debbie loves purple! Here is a picture of her gloves that I will mail out with her card today.  I am late for work - got to run!
