TOGETHER

Hi, There!
I am trying to keep my card creations real simple so I can get them all done by this coming week.  After this week, I will have to stop because I have so many other pressing projects to complete - like watching our favorite holiday DVD's together at night after work.  Put on the popcorn and get some hot cocoa going!!

Some of my favorites are - A Christmas Carol,   The Bishop's Wife, March of the Wooden Soldiers, and Miracle on 34th Street, and my grand kids will want to watch  A Christmas Story and National Lampon's Christmas Vacation - to mention a few - do you have any family traditional movies to watch for the holidays?
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the holidays - breathe and enjoy the season as it will be gone before we know it for another year!

CHRISTMAS FAIRY

Hi, There!

I hope my Sunday post finds you not going too crazy with the holiday rush.  I love amazon.com for the easy shopping options and here in upstate NY the malls are a big thing -  but not for me!  I like to shop locally and as I said, online I let my fingers do the walking - which gives me more time to be creative!!

So here is my card for today - this image is from Lili of the Valley and she is so cute. I colored her with Copics and in my faorite colors of pink and blue.  Some pretty lace and ribbon trim, snowflake punches and corner embellishments.  I like the holly that is in her hair and in her basket!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I LOVE SNOW DAYS - NOT

Hi, There!
Now I love this clear stamp image from Flourishes but I do not love snow days because if I was a cat or dog I would be shedding my skin (fur) thinking about driving to work!!  I am chickenlicken when it comes to snow even though I have a car that goes in snow!!  So I opt for the snow boots and hot cocoa all the way!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great "hot cocoa" type day;)  Hugs ~CaroleAnn

BELIEVE

Hi, There!
Well, I am not doing any more challenges just trying to stay on top of my card making projects.  This image I did color and post on an earlier date but just had to color one more and design another card with this cute mouse - MoManning's digital image.  So here it is - hope you enjoy peeking at my creations.  I had today off from work for a doctor's appointment (I needed a cortisone shot for a trigger figure thumb)  but still managed to get in some crafting!!  Love these kind of days!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a creative weekend!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

WINTER FAIRY TALVA

Hi, There!
This is a card I will give someone for the holidays but I used very non-traditional colors and I think I like how it came out - still not sure.  Only one thing I am sure about is I love this image by Mo Manning - Winter Fairy Talva and just loved coloring her with my copic markers!  I can remember our kids eating snowballs and now I watch in wonder how this is truly a built in mechanism for kids of all ages as all my grandchildren did the same thing!!  Great memories!  I would like to enter this card in the following challenge.

DP2 Anything Goes - Peachy Perfect for me for this card;)

ICE SKATES AND SKATING MEMORIES

Hi, There!
Well, I have many memories of ice skating.  My Mom took me ice skating in Prospect Park when I was small and I loved it!  I had skates with red pom poms and I had a Ginny doll that had an ice skating outfit that I really loved to play with.  Now as a grown up, my knees and ankles would begin to tremble if I even think of putting on a pair of skates but I am thankful for those memories at the ice skating rink!!  So this image from Flourishes is perfect and I had fun putting this card together.  I would like to enter it for the following challenge
Addicted To Stamps Challenge #44 - Christmas - easy peasy again for me;)

NOT EVEN A MOUSE

Hi, There!
Hope you have enjoyed your Sunday.  I spent almost the entire day putting together cards so here is my first for tonight.  My sister had a fascination with mice - not the real kind that scurry around - YIKES!!  But a collection of cute resin mice.  When she was very young, I convinced her that a cute mouse lived under our desk - I even put some small doll furniture under there for her to look at - remember sis?  After all, we grew up with Mighty Mouse!  Oops, I just dated myself.  :)  So I just thought this image from  Mo Manning's would be perfect for her!  He is just so cute with his little teabag pillow!
I would like to enter this card for the following challenge
No Matter Which Challenges - Christmas - Yeah!  Easy peasy since that is all I am doing;)

SINGING TRIO

Hi There!
That little count down label I have on my blog is making me nervous!! LOL  So I am putting my cards together with a flourish and trying not to get too embellish-y (I think that is a word) to save time - but that is so hard for me!! This is a card I am going to give my son and his wife as they have two cats that look like these - well kind of - Teddy and Sadie - so no further ado and I would like to enter this card in the following challenge
Fab N Funky - Three of something or the number 3 to celebrate their 3rd Birthday - Happy Birthday To You being sung to the tune of Jingle Bells! :)

Card Recipe
Image is from DP2 colored with my Copic Markers and the papers are from my stash.  I am digging deep into my mounds of holiday  papers and finding stuff I didn't know I had and falling in love with them all over again -- like a new surprise!! A piece of sparkle tulle is behind the image along with a ribbon trimmed in gold. The red berries are from a branch I cannibalized, the flower and rhinestones from Recollections.  Lots of stardust too!  Back to the drawing table to make another card!!!! Whew!

GINGERBREAD COOKIES/SPARKLE & SHINE

Hi, There!
Good Morning and I hope for those who celebrate Thanksgiving that you had a good one and did not knock yourself out with the black Friday shopping.  I have never gotten involved in that yet.  I shop in my PJ's on my computer - love Amazon.com!!  It was good to be together with family and friends but now back down to business and trying to get those last few Christmas cards made.  Lucky for me I don't send many cards  so I only give my handmade cards  to a hand full of loved ones!

Now this sweet image is from Sugar Nellie and called Gingerbread Cookies.  She was fun to color with my Copic markers and lots of star dust and liquid pearls were used.

The paper is from my stash so no information on that paper except I was so happy to find it in my stash box and it is double sided so I just had to fold down that corner to reveal the great cookie paper too!  And the side view shows that yummy looking gumdrop paper!

I used a rose from Wild Orchard Crafts, the ribbon and other flowers are from Ribbon Girl.  Holly is from a flower branch I pulled apart. The gingerbread man is from my stash as is the doily and the candies surrounding the punch out tag I used.  This was a fun card - hope you like it and thanks for stopping by - hugs ~ CaroleAnn
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Sugar Bowl Challenge #96 - follow Marie Therese's Sketch and optional Sparkle & Shine
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #190 - recipe use twine/ribbon, pearls/gems, die/punch

I so enjoy visiting all of you and your comments on my blog mean so much to me - thanks for visiting!   Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Hi, There

Just finished this card tonight.  Want to give it to a coworker tomorrow - she found out that her grandson (only 13) has cancer!  Not ours to ask why - but you can only imagine the questions that go around and around in my mind.  So with this card I am sending her and to everyone that has been touched by cancer either through a personal fight or by your personal experience of friends and loved ones -  lots of hugs, prayers, and flowers of hope that someday we will never have to send these type of cards to anyone!!

Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

RED RIDING HOOD/FAIRY TALES/WEREWOLF OR VAMPIRE

Hi There

Okay, I love this image called "Melissa" from Crafts and Me by Artist Hannah Lynn.  Loved coloring her and her wolf.  My only dilemma was in my imagination as I was working on her - was she Red Riding Hood, the Fairy Tale; or since she has these tiny fangs is she a vampire; or is she a werewolf with her Wolf-man?   Now, if you saw the movie - Wolf - starring, Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer, you will know why I am leaning towards the fantasy of "Wolf Lovers";)  Yes, I like scary movies!!  Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening, till next time, Hugs ~CaroleAnn

So I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafts and Me Challenge #103 - Your Favorite Color - mine is red!!!
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #140 - Starts with "F" - mine is "Fantasy"

No card - just hello - and taking a break

Hi, There!
I hope I find you well and I know I have found you all very busy with all your creativeness! I personally have been very busy with family and back to school errands lately.  But I am still visiting all my blogging friends but not doing much myself.  I have been in my craft room only for the occasional need to color my world!  I think I am taking a break.  Kind of ran into a wall and just went down - for awhile anyway.  I love visiting you and I will be back very soon with some cards - so don't forget me - I am still there in your blogging world! Big Hugs and I am loving all the creativeness I am oohing over!!

FAIRY GREETING CARDS

Hi, There!

We are off to visit some relatives in Long Island and I put together a box of cards for our hostess that is so generously BBQing for this big gang!  We are 7 alone in our family so besides bringing some food I thought the cards would be a nice touch.  I made some new ones to add to her collection too.  I would like to show you some of the newer ones as these were created by finishing up the last of my "treasure box" fairy cards - thanks Carolyn - I have so enjoyed using all my "fun stuff" you sent me;)  The fairy cards have been spruced up with stardust here and there and some added stickers too. The papers used for these 3 cards are all from Recollections "Habitat" - these papers are just so beautiful - not captured to the full extent from my photos!;(

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon with some new colored images!  Happy coloring Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

So I decided to join in - loved this nice and easy challenge and a perfect one for this great image that I fell in love with over at Dilly Bean - check out this blog too - love these images and their big eyes.  You know I am into BIG EYES and BIG HAIR!  lol  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

So here is my card that I would like to enter for the following challenge:
