UNDER THE SEA

Hi, There!

I could not wait to color this mermaid from Aurora Wings called Mermaid Tying A Ribbon.  She is just so beautiful and so much fun to color - lots of glitter and white pearl used on her.  I used both Copic and Spectrum Markers and my Spectrum pencils for shading.  Added Glossy Accent for her eyes and the surrounding bubbles.   Sticker fish and shells I found in my stash.  The Mermaid inside the card has been raised with foam dots.

I could not bring myself to totally destroy the background paper so I used it on inside of the card both top and bottom so as to keep the whole background image of the under the sea mermaid!  This paper is from DCWV/Once Upon A Time.  The song from Disney's Under The Sea played in my head the whole time creating this card!  Thanks for coming by to visit - hope you have a great week, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

BLOWING BUBBLES

Hi, There!

One of my fun things to do with my grandchildren - blowing bubbles!!!  Something relaxing about it and watching how far they will float up and all the colors reflected inside each bubble!  So this sweet girl is bringing back those memories to me!  I used Spectrum markers and pencils for coloring and Glossy Accents for the bubbles.  Colored brads for the extra "bubbles".  I made this into a Twist Easel Card.  The papers are all from Recollections, the image is a digital image from ArtByMiran "Blowing Bubbles".  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Eyelet Squares for the frame of the image and the text is from TLC.  Hope you have time to "blow bubbles" - till next time,  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

Hi, There!

Very stormy here today so not a sun shiny day but looking at this adorable Sprite (which was a freebie) from Aurora Wings called Sunflower how could it not feel sunny!!!  Love these Sprites!  So much fun to color.  I used Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color this little one up and then went back in and added shading with the Spectrum Noir Blendable colored pencils - list is below.  Papers are from K&Company "Tim Coffey".  I used a flower to decoupage for height, and a die cut from Dies R Us - a Cheery-Lynn "Hello", edge punch from Martha Stewart, a deco corner punch, rhinestones and ribbon from stash and Stardust for shine and some fran-tage in the corners!  Hope you like it - so many more Sprites to color and so little time!!!
