NO COLORING - NO STAMPING - CAS CARDS

Hi There!
I hope you are doing okay for a Sunday afternoon!  I had some quiet time here so decided to do something in my art room. I wanted to make some quick cards using my stickers and without using any colored images or stamped images!!!  Can you believe that!! But I was able to knock off a few cards by just going thru my "stash" and finding stuff and putting elements together and this is what I have to show you!  Fun and got to use some left over papers and recycled a piece of cardboard - which I will point out to you!  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!  Till next time - thanks for stopping by - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

This is the card that has the cardboard backing on it - it came with some crafting supplies I bought and I designed the card around that one piece of cardboard (it is the tan and blue swirl which was already on the cardboard).  The next four cards are all designed around the Penny Black Stickers I used:

A DAY FOR DAISES CHALLENGE CARD

Hi There
Hope everyone is well today.  I feel for all my blog friends with some of the weird weather you have been getting.  I think Mother Nature is upset - hope she gets over it soon for everyone ;)

Here is my card for the challenge over at ADFD - "Add Some Script"!  I have been wanting to do this image (Fairy Gift)  for quite some time but I have to admit I am drooling over some of the newer digis that are coming out!

But I made myself a promise to use what I have for awhile - maybe - we'll see how long I last with this one.  Can't tell you how many promises like that I have broken - alas, all for a good cause -" an image I can't live without" - "some great DP paper I just have to have now" - you all know what I mean!  Addiction to pretty stuff!!

Well, enough chatter, hope you like the Fairy Magical card and I wish for you a magical type of day!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

CLP SKETCH CHALLENGE #49

Hi There!

I found this monthly sketch challenge blog - Crafting Life's Pieces and it was love at first sight!  First of all I can handle something once a month;)  But you can also include two entries which I think is great and they can be connected to another challenge - another big plus!!  So here is my card for the CLP Sketch #49 and I used a great stamp from Crafts and Me and she is called Cali!  I love her eyes and yes I had to color her hair to match those gorgeous eyes!  I feel the urge to color more images and all different hair colors but I will not post them on this blog and be so repetitive with one image.  So  I have decided to post the different color images I incorporate into cards over at SplitcoastStampers so you can find me there too!  Okay - back to this challenge.

This is the Sketch:

This is my card:

SHABBY CHIC - FAIRY STYLE

Hi There

Happy Saturday morning to everyone!  I am going to enter this card for the Wild Orchid Crafts challenge #54 - I think I am in time.  Always late is me :)  I was excited to do this card as the theme of Shabby Chic lent it self very well to all my fairy goodies I received the other day.  So here it is!  Have a great weekend - do something fun ;)  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

The first picture is the card itself - but I did some closeups because of all the goodies I used - if you wish to see those - there is some very pretty lace that sparkles with fairy dust, a paper flower which is surrounded by WOC's little roses, a crystal sparkle star pin which is tied with pink & white twine, a flower doily, a bead that I used up in the corner of the WOC's corner filigree, the beautiful image is one of the fairy cards I received that I added some liquid pearls to it and of course, stardust.  The sentiment in the MS label is from Lili of the Valley!  The DP background paper is from Kaiser Craft - Grandmother.  Hope you enjoy taking a peek!  I had fun putting this together - (thanks to Carolyn over at Littlegretel Dolls I have a little box of treasures that I will be going into many times - I am sure!)
