EASTER BLESSINGS TO YOU

Hi, There!

This is my card inspiration for our Friday challenge at QKR Stampede

Just kept it real simple - more because I was running out of time and trying to think what I could make and still be on time with my post!!!!  It is amazing how fast Fridays come around!!!  LOL

Hope my card finds you well and getting ready to enjoy the Easter festivities - if you celebrate.  For us here it is a time to be so happy and excited for the Risen Lord!!!  Amen!!!

Big hugs and blessings to you always ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
The sentiment is from QKR Stampede - digital Image - E57502
Background is from my stash of glitter paper.  And I used a Spellbinder die cut called Shapeabilities/Contemporary Circles.  There are tiny hearts here and there from a doily die cut I used and saved the hearts.  Ribbon and heart rhinestone from my stash.

I used two more die cuts but put them inside (they were the doilies from Cheery Lynn Designs) and forgot to take an inside photo:(

HAMSTER CUPCAKE

Hi, There!

I used this image once to make another birthday card for someone and my sister saw it and fell in love with it and told me I had to make her a card with this image.  So here it is only I changed the cake to chocolate!!!  Yummy.  This is only one of many cards coming her way as she is turning 70!!!!  Sorry, Sis, I spilled the beans but I wanted you to join me in these wonderful golden years of the '70s!!!  LOL

Now if you look at the photo of the inside of the card - that is where my big booboo came in.  I put the inside card on the wrong side but just went with it and added the stickers on the other side that should have had the inside white card stock to write my message.  She will laugh when she sees this - thanks for stopping by - be blessed always ~ CaroleAnn XXOO

APRIL SHOWERS BRING BOOTS FULL OF FLOWERS!

Hi, There!

I had to make some cards to replace those cards you need in a hurry for whatever reason and I found these 3 digital images in my stash and that was it!!!

Everything just fell into place - don't you love when that happens:)  I also found a bundle of A2 card stock already cut to size and in many different colors!!!!  Have no idea if I made them or bought them!!!  This is what happens when you have too much and start cleaning out your shelves, bins, and drawers!!  LOL

So here is the one I am posting here but below are two more I made and just wanted to share.  Thanks for stopping by - hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
Imagine That digital image Frog Boots colored with Copic Markers.  The image is cut out with a stitched nesting rectangles die from Tutti Design and used the same die for the next two layers of papers.  Added a hummingbird sticker, and ribbon from stash.  The sentiment is a "thank you" freebie stamp from Verve (now no longer in business)  I used this sentiment on each card.

The other two cards I made the same way with these adorable boot images and stitched nesting rectangle die:

Used paper from KaiserCraft/Blessed for framing the image.  I tried my Nuvo Drops in the background and they turned hard inside and can't be used - only had them for a year.  But my Liquid Pearls I have had for years and years and they never fail to work!!!  Yay!

Used paper from My Mind's Eye/Blush.  Stardust on the polka dots on the boot.  Sequins on the background are from Stampin Up.  Ribbon from stash.

WELCOME LITTLE ONE

Hi, There!

I just love baby cards and never really make many of them.  I actually think this may be only my second baby card.

My hygienist in the dentist office had a baby boy so I wanted to surprise her with a card when I go back in a week or so.  And here it is:

This card is made with no stamping!!!  I can't imagine that but it happened!  LOL
I used the Sue Wilson Welcome Baby die cut set.  I used Distress Inks to shade inside the die cut (Tumbled Glass).  The sentiment is a die cut also from the same set.  The rocking horse is from Cheapo Dies.  The BP and the tags are all from Graphic 45/Little Darlings.  The BP has been distressed with Distress Ink, Vintage Photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Hi, There!

Here it is Friday and another anything goes challenge at QKR Stampede.  I took one look at this image and just knew it was going to be used for a Mother's Day card.

I do not think I have ever had a bear that big in my bear collection as a child but something in me just wanted to paint him up in a blue-green color.  Love how the ragdoll has her foot sticking out from her chair as so does her bear!

Lots of cute images like this at QKR Stampede.  Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn
