FAIRY GREETING CARDS

Hi, There!

We are off to visit some relatives in Long Island and I put together a box of cards for our hostess that is so generously BBQing for this big gang!  We are 7 alone in our family so besides bringing some food I thought the cards would be a nice touch.  I made some new ones to add to her collection too.  I would like to show you some of the newer ones as these were created by finishing up the last of my "treasure box" fairy cards - thanks Carolyn - I have so enjoyed using all my "fun stuff" you sent me;)  The fairy cards have been spruced up with stardust here and there and some added stickers too. The papers used for these 3 cards are all from Recollections "Habitat" - these papers are just so beautiful - not captured to the full extent from my photos!;(

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon with some new colored images!  Happy coloring Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

LETS HEAR IT FOR THE GIRLS CARD

Hi There!

I found this challenge website on Ann Marie's blog  (there is some beautiful inspirations on her blog and Ann Marie is one of the members of the Design Team for Stamptacular Sundays challenge). So I decided to join in - loved this nice and easy challenge and a perfect one for this great image that I fell in love with over at Dilly Bean - check out this blog too - love these images and their big eyes.  You know I am into BIG EYES and BIG HAIR!  lol  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

So here is my card that I would like to enter for the following challenge:

Stamptacular Sundays - "Let's Hear if For the Girls"

Copic Markers
Skin - E0000, 000 00 and E93
Hair - E15, 18, 33
Background - YG13
Eyes - YG13, YG25 and YG07
Flowers in Hair - R20, 21 and 22
DP is from Webster's Pages, sentiment is from SU on a Martha Stewart label and the lace butterfly is also from MS.  After I had posted this I had added some liquid dimensional to her eyes and I did not think I could capture how great it made her eyes look on my dinky camera (nor am I a very good photographer) so I never uploaded it - but me oh my - I am loving her eyes on my card.  Have to color more of these images!  Here's Looking At Ya!!

Love Letters

Hi There!

I hope you are all enjoying the start to a new week - almost the end of August - I can't believe it!

Love letters or any kind of letters I find to be few and far between now that we have all this "E" stuff!  I seem to receive more bills than anything else! UGH!  But I am happy to say that this is a card that is going to be sent to someone special in my life.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

I would like to enter this card for the following challenge:

Lili of the Valley - "Oh So Girlie" challenge -
Now I know maybe a little girl image would have been more appropriate for the challenge but to me this bear is a little girl - in fact she has a special "sister" bear that she is sending her "love" note to - although miles apart they are close at heart;)

I love these bear images from LOV! This one is A Little Message and so she is off with her card and carefully places her mail into the mailbox.  The message that is stamped on the MS label was also included with the rubber stamp.  I colored the image with Copic markers (listed below) and I used papers from Recollections called "Love Letters", ribbon and heart trim is from my stash, doily from my treasure box, heart paper clip from my stash, the stamped letters are from Rubber Stampede and the "best friends" stamp is from Hero Arts and both are colored with my Prisma pencils.  Pearls from Recollections.  Thanks for taking time to visit!  Hope you receive some "love" letters in your mailbox too!  :)

LIL' SWEET PEA CELEBRATION CARD

Hi There!

It seems like ages since I got around to posting a new card!
So without any further ado here is my card.

I would like to enter this card for the following two challenges:

Sugar Bowl Challenge #89 - You had to use Maria Theresa's Sketch which is a great sketch and fun to follow and also use a Sugar Nellie image.  I used Lil' Sweetpea rubber stamp.  You know how much I love anything to do with those little fairies.  It was optional to follow a butterfly theme but for me - easy peasy - another one of my loves! :) Which I took the liberty of covering her little ladybugs up with little punch out butterflies.  A close up:

This is the sketch to follow -

Hooked On Craft Challenge #23 - You can use any stamp but must be for a "Lets Celebrate" card. This challenge runs to August 25th - go check them out and they have some great inspiration cards to look at from previous winners.  And goodies to browse thru - love browsing; wish I could leave it at just browsing - if you know what I mean ! :)
