Hi, There!

I had the song going thru my head the whole time coloring this image!!!  I have had this for awhile so it was time to finish her and set her on a card to dance her way to someone's home for Christmas Magic!

Hope you find a special present that brings you joy and happiness on Christmas morning!! - hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

COME LET US ADORE HIM

Hi, There!

I saw this sentiment die cut from Penny Black and knew immediately how I would use it!

Perfect for Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge - Star Light Star Bright!  No star brighter or sheds more light than this Star!!! Also for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #444 - Christmas Present - no greater gift for a Christian than His birth!!!!

Designing of my card does not come easily to me most times - I truly love the coloring process of any image I use the best.  This image is from La-La Land Crafts called Mary Molli - such a sweet face.  I did cut her out to pop her in front of the die cut background (also from LaLaLandCrafts).

The sentiment is from Penny Black which I also love.  I cut that out from some sparkle paper.  The image is colored with Copic Markers and I added lots of Wink of Stella so it has such a nice shimmer - lost in the photo.  The background paper is from Maja Design/Vintage Frost Basics.  Ribbon from stash.  Thanks for stopping by, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER

Hi, There!

I hope you are doing well and getting some creating in during this busy time of the season.  You can't see my table for all the Christmas labels, stickers, papers, glitter - well, you get the idea;)  But I had to clean away a spot to make this card for my granddaughter - she will be 2 at the end of November.

She loves Curious George so I had this little girl monkey that I thought would be cute for her and I made a shaker card for her.  Inside is another monkey like the one on the front but attached with one of those wobbles so she has some interactive stuff going on inside.  It was so much fun to make it.  And I just had to make her a glitter envelope to match all the pink going on!!

Now I am back to full swing Christmas cards and hope to post some by the middle of this week - Lord, allowing;)  Until next time, stay well, big hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

WINDOW SCENE

Hi, There!

Who wants to be inside or outside in this window scene?  This is my cat Sam, he sits at all the available window spots in our house watching all the wildlife outside.  I know he loves being inside where it is warm but sometimes - I wonder?

Now that little bird looks happy enough outside in the snow, safe from a prowling cat.  His stockings are all hung with the hopes of some bird seed (I have a bag ready)!!

I created the background for the bird with Distress Oxide Inks - Broken China and Faded Jeans - splashed with water droplets.  Added Stardust.  Die cut a window, added acetate to the back of the window and glued some snow on the inside.  Used 3D foam to mount the window over the bird stamp.  Colored the bird image with Copic Markers.

Used an embossing folder of snowflakes for the background paper.  Added the window scene.  Stamped and colored the next image with Copic Markers. I cut that image out and applied that plus the die cut cat to the front of the window.

Ribbon from my stash and added the sentiment "Merry Christmas" in white embossing powder.  Thanks for stopping by and until next time, big hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

Card Recipe:
The stamp image of bird is from Penny Black/Snow Much Fun Clear Stamp set
Sentiment is from stash
Window Die-Cut - Small Madison Window
Snowflake embossing folder/Sizzix
The stamp image on the front of the window is a freebie I received with my CardMaking Magazine from the UK,  called Vintage Christmas Clear Stamp Set a few years ago.

DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN OR TWO?

Hi, There!

Well, that is not what I want to be doing!!  Please no  S N O W - yet!!!  But these snowmen look like they are just having so much fun in all that cold stuff!!

These snowmen images and the background image are all rubber stamps from Purple Onion Designs.
I masked my snowman on both cards and made the background sky first by using my Distress Oxide Inks.  Some stardust glitter for snow and a snowflake sticker.  Sentiment from my stash.

Now if you look real close inside one of those windows on that cozy log cabin,  I am inside hunkered down in a fluffy warm blanket in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa!  lol

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are cozy and warm.  Until next time, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

WONDERLAND SHAKER DECOUPAGE MAGNET CARDS

Hi, There!

I got this idea from Tina's blog called Cards and Coffee on her YouTube channel!!  Thank you, Tina, for all your creative ideas!!!

On her tutorial, Tina put her 3D decoupage removable magnet on the front of her card but my magnet would not stay on the front so I reversed it and put my magnet gift inside of my card.

I had trouble getting a clear photo due to the acetate sheet glare but in person, the card looks really great as a 3D framed decoupage shaker card.

The paper I used is from Wonderland by Helz Cuppleditch and the decoupage kit is from the same and all from the UK at HobbyKraft.  Thanks for visiting me and have a wonderful evening or day ;)  Big hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

You remove the left side of the card and have a magnet for your frig.  There is a magnet glued behind the image on the front of the card and that is what is holding the shaker 3D card in place inside of your card!

Top of this inside card removes for your magnet.  It is a 3D decoupage shaker card!

HAPPY MAIL

Hi, There!

Who doesn't like Happy Mail?  I love receiving a surprise card in my mailbox and better yet I love sending a surprise card to someone.  So with that in mind, I made two "happy mail" cards to use for later.  I love this image from #StampingBella.  Tiny Townie/Lacey has a letter image.  She is just so darn cute!!!

I had to make the first card following the sample color image on the packaging of the Stamping Bella rubber stamp set and the second card I made with some sample paper, a doily, and a stamped sentiment - all received as a thank you from #Verve Stamp company - nice touch and thank you!  Like I said - happy mail:)

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you to receive some happy mail - no bills - just happy stuff;)
Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn
