CUDDLY BUDDLY - ALL MINE!!

Hi, There!

Got a need for a birthday card?  Well this digital image , called Furgus MacFluff, from Cuddly Buddly is just the answer!  He is just so sweet and fun to color which I did all in copic markers and some colored pencils in the darker areas of his fur.  I made this a center step card.  And used all papers from my stash and the "Happy Birthday" die cut is from my friend, Sherri!!!  Star clips from stash and so are the stickers.  Trying to use more of my stash then buying new;)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  I am getting ready for the snow tomorrow but I will be driving home in it from work as it is supposed to be bad at the home commute time!!! Ugh!!  Counting down to my retirement  - too old for all this snow stuff and the stress it causes to drive in it!!!!  Stay warm, till next time, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

VALENTINE TOPPER CARDS

Hi, There!

I wanted to make a few more Valentine cards but they had to be fast makes as my time is so limited right now.  So I pulled out these topper cards I have had for over a year from Lili of the Valley and bingo it worked!  So here are my two cards - one I had to take two photos so you could see what I did with the front of the card.  Without further a-do, here they are and thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
Used a rub on and a stamp sentiment that I just received from my January kit from Simon Says Stamp!  Lots of great goodies in there - hope to use more of the goodies during the week.
I put lots of glossy accent on their balloon and some heart crystal stickers on the side.  DP from BoBunny

This is the photo of the second card closed (I scored it in half on the front)  Used another clear stamp and some rub ons from my kit.  Puffy heart sticker from Recollections

Now opened like an easel card.  Inside paper is from my kit and added a Cherish Border Die cut from Memory Box

AURORA WINGS - GIRL FLOWER BUTTERFLIES

Hi, There!

Just had to make a card with bright, happy flowers since it is so cold here!!!  And happy I found the time to design a card around this beautiful image from Aurora Wings and you can find that image here.  This was so much fun to color and it was done with Copic Markers and also used plenty of liquid pearls, pearls from Zva, and glitter star dust.  I decided to keep the design simple so no flowers or lace or ribbons.  Background papers are from Lost & Found/Sunshine, red is from my stash, and blue and striped piece from K&Company/Tim Coffey.  The bright colors make me feel happy and warm;)  Till next time, thanks for stopping by, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

CAS BUTTERFLY CARDS AND GIFT BOX

Hi, There!

Have a friend that is retiring and wanted to make her some cards so this is what I came up with and I bought a box at Michaels that had butterflies on it.  So that helped with the theme.  I wanted to use nice springy colors and I loved this polka dot paper.  I  lined the envelopes with matching papers. Spring colors to make her feel warm since it is so cold outside!  My friend is moving to Florida so she will be warmer then she is now;)  So it all pulled together and now I have more gift cards to make so I am running back into my craft room.  Have a good night and Happy Weekend to you!!!  Hugs ~  CaroleAnn

DARLING!!

Hi, There!

This is just one of the Lucy Loo's  from Eastwind.  So many to choose from and I love them all.  So much fun to color.  But I almost messed up on this one as I spent an hour coloring her hair and then messed up on the eyes - and then I tried fixing them up and I think I carried it off as I did not want to print out another image and start over - you know how that is!!!  So no work of art is a mistake but a journey;)  So here is my card with finished project - hope you like her - I think I will excuse myself, Darling, and enjoy a nice glass of red wine!!  Thanks for visiting - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

NEW YEAR/NEW BABY GIRL!

Hi, There!
What better way to celebrate the New Year than with the birth of a baby!!  My friend has now entered the realm of grandparenthood and I am very excited for her.  So I had to make her a card and here it is!   The image is digital from Pachela Studios at Cuddly Buddly found here.    I used Copic Markers to color this little fellow.  Star Dust and Wink of Stella.  And the beautiful die cut doily is from CheeryLynn Cape Code Doily.  One of my surprises in the mail this year was from a good friend that sent me a bunch of pre-cut dies all ready to use!!!

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon.  I am a little under the weather today so any plans of putting away Christmas decorations will have to wait till another day!  House always looks neater when everything is put away - don't you think?  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week full of wonderful "new beginnings"!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
