Hi, There!
4 different rubber stamps were used - all from Stampin Up (some very old stamps I dug out).

I made this watercolor background scene and have been trying to figure out how to complete the scene with some stamps. Then it all clicked when I read the challenge title over at SSS - "The Great Outdoors"!
4 different rubber stamps were used - all from Stampin Up (some very old stamps I dug out).
By masking the different wooden rubber stamps, I was able to get the birds both in the foreground and background. Two more stamps, masked, for the little bit of vegetation and tiny butterflies in the right hand corner. I added some glitter to the gentle waves that I painted.
I have fallen in love with watercoloring and hope to experiment more with this media. Hope this photo makes you think of soft breezes, the gentle sounds of the waves and the happy chirping of the birds flying overhead!!!
Thanks for stopping by, till next time, hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

This is beautiful. You're really good at watercoloring. I bought all the supplies, but never got around to trying it...maybe someday!
