CALI GIRL - HOLIDAY STYLE

Hi, There!

My first Christmas card is done!!!!!  Do ya think I will have to work very fast and make some really simple cards going forward?  Oh, well, I had so much fun coloring and that is what it is all about.

I did this image quite a long time ago in hot pink and turq so I thought why not color her up for the Christmas holidays!  And here she is!  You know me, I love to color hair and color it in different colors!!!  F  U  N!!!  Thanks for stopping by and do something just for fun for You!!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

It's Your Birthday!!!

Hi, There!

I made a card for a special person that will celebrate her birthday today.  I already sent her this card so no worries that she will see it before she receives it!  This was another fun card to make and I used a panel of watercolor paper and distress inks.  I used two stencils from Tom Holtz layering collection on top of the distress inks.  Sentiment is a freebie that came with my CardMaking Magazine from the UK.  Some sequins here and there.  Graphic 45 background paper and ribbon from my stash.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

This is one of many of my fave images from Crafts and Me.  This one is by Artist Hannah Lynn called Melissa.  I just love how the wolf is looking at her - so adoringly.  This is how my cat looks at me and it always makes me feel so special.

Okay, back to the card.  They are having a Design Team call over at Crafts and Me for their Challenge and Inspirational Blog.  So I am entering this card for that challenge and also entering at their new Facebook Challenge - Anything Goes!  I am so happy to find them on Facebook!!

Kept the card real simple - all about the image.  Used some distress ink/Faded Jeans around the craft paper as backing to the DP and the image.  Distressed one of the background papers with my distress tool and shaded with Faded Jeans distress ink.   Popped the image up with foam dots.

Just a card to wish everyone that celebrates Halloween to have a Happy one!  I love Halloween for the colors that surround me during this season but most of all for all the candy - someone has to eat what is left over!!!  Yummy!!!  Have fun!  Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

AUTUMN AND ALL ITS GLORY

I drive to work and I marvel at all the colors surrounding me - everything looks so different and all the colors and the simple beauty of it all puts me in a good mood!!!  Imagine that - even driving to work!!!  I plan to take time to see the glory of the Autumn surrounding me as we all know what is coming our way;)

So my card for tonight - it is all about Autumn and what it means to me.  This embossing folder from Cuddlebug says it all for me!  I love it!   I used my distress inks all over it.  Papers are from my stash and so is the cording and wooden button.  Thanks so much for stopping by, till next time, Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

HAPPY HALLOWEEN DISTRESS INK BACKGROUND

Got to play with my distress inks again and after the background dried (I found out very quickly if you do not completely dry your background your embossing powder sticks everywhere!:(  I stamped this great Inkadinkado pumkin stamp and text.  So this was a second time around for this card.  Thanks for taking a peek, hope you find time to play - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn

SKULLS AND SPELLS

Hi, There!

I have discovered my Distress Inks - had them for so long and never really did much with them.  Started watching some Tim Holt's videos and now I am hooked and wish I had more time to just play!  So here is my first card using a Hampton Art stamp. Stamped it in Brushed Pewter Distress Paint and once dry went over with distress inks and a spot of textured paste in the corner. (Not to be too ghoulish, it is suppose to be blood!!)  Fun stuff!
Papers used for background are from Graphic 45 and some mirror paper on the end.  Corner spider webs from Recollections. I have more to post but maybe tomorrow.  Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by - Hugs ~ CaroleAnn
