WHISPERS FROM THE SEA

Hi, There!

I love mermaids and went thru some of my digital stamps from Aurora Wings and found this one that I can't remember if I ever made a card for her so here it is.

The background paper is from my Whimsy Stamps June kit and the silver glitter embossed bubbles I made from one of the background stamps that came with this set.  I have to make some cards from the adorable stamps that came with this set and their papers are just gorgeous!

I wonder what she hears from the shell - can you remember doing this as a kid!!!  So much fun.  The frame is from Whimsy Stamps shaker frame and the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz Thinlits die.  I also found an underwater sea life die and used it on some of the leftover Distress Oxide Ink backgrounds I made to match some of her colors. Added some pearls here and there.  The image is attached with 3D foam and so is the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon for QKR Stampede Friday challenge!  Hugs and blessings ~ CaroleAnn

  3. Gorgeous coloring on this card. I am always too afraid to try very different hair colors. Maybe someday I'll get brave and try it. I have a hard time with hair anyways. I had to laugh at your comment on my blog. right now I am very barely keeping my head above water. I am quitting two design teams in August when I will be having my knee replacement surgery. I may have to take a couple week break from the others. I heard the first few weeks after the surgery are quite painful...something to look forward to. Rvrtyone one I spoke to said it was worth it in the end.
